Great place to have your home projects taken care of. I just had my garage window fixed here and they did a great job replacing the glass in the frame.

If you’re looking for other parts that you cannot find anywhere else, this is the place to go. They have a variety of what you need. Just ask the salesman at the register he will point you in the right direction. Very nice place very polite people he will help you out.

They have a good selection of hardware and household items! The repair shop is tops!

A super friendly family owned business! Probably the greatest assortment or hardware in WNY! Definitely worth spending some time in the store to get an idea of the large inventory of items they have. This will save you some time going to the big box stores for you next project. Sales and service on outdoor power equipment too! Highly reccomend!

My family and I have been going to Hectors for many years. The owners and his employees are courteous and knowledgeable. A neighborhood hardware store that provides a good experience. Whenever I go , there is always someone around to help me with an item. They also have a re-screening service to fix old window screens, with quick turn around time. . My most recent visit to the store it was busy, I had a problem with my Echo line trimmer. The owner took 10 minutes out of his busy morning and completed a quick repair. I was out the door and productive the rest of the day. Always a good experience when I visit.

This hardware store is amazing, worth the drive from anywhere in the Buffalo area. Has that old time feel with all employees so accommodating.

Couldn’t find my bolts needed & someone observed that and stepped in to help. Went out of the way to take my license plate bolts off my vehicle to match them perfectly. Went home and they are exactly what I needed. And they have the cheapest propane exchanges in town. Good experience.

Any time I'm looking for a fastener, that I can't find anywhere else, I look here. They have an isle of nothing but bins of hardware. They are very knowledgeable in many areas of repair

The staff at this store are really helpful. I go in there to pick stuff up from time to time, but today I just needed some advice about a snowblower I thought I might need a part for. They helped with some advice that was just what I needed! Definitely recommend.

Hector's is great! I had a lawnmower fixed there and ran into problems with it again the following season and they fixed it again free of charge. It's not that I wanted anything for free, but it is very nice to see a company stand by there work. I would highly recommend this establishment. The customer service is also top notch! Russ the manager and Rachel both went out of their way to ensure that I was taken care of and they did so in a very friendly manner.

The girl at the transit road store is so helpful and really knows her stuff She explained the steps in detail for me to change out my kitchen faucet. I was so happy that I could do it by myself. Thank you for all your help!

I went there for an obscure furnace filter that no one else carried. The clerk was very helpful and even though they didn't have this filter in stock, he offered to order a case for me. I told him I would let him know. I could get lost in that store as I love hardware stores. They have everything. I only have one " bone to pick" with them. There wasn't any handicapped parking and in addition there was no cutout in the high curb in front of the store to get in. I had a problem but was able to handle it. If someone is in a wheelchair, forget it!

Russ always does me well anytime I had anything wrong with anything he’s always taken care of it and he always says everything I want at the right price of going to Russ’s for 40 years with that said in that 40 years I’ve never bought anything at actors hardware that I regreted you can get just as good at price at Hector‘s as you can get a Home Depot or who is depending on the part and it’s a good family owned a few business so before you run after Home Depot check the price over at Russ hectors hardware on transit Road

Id love to know the little lady who helped me so i could mail the store a thank you snd Tim Hortins gift card. I was having the worst day ever and decided to try and do some repairs at home and i needed a special type of bolt however i did not know the size or anything and only had a picture of it to go by. I stopped at several stores (Walmart, Home Depot & Value) only to learn no one knew what bolt it was and told they probably didnt sell it anyways. So that just added to my horrible day. So headed home i noticed Hectors Hardware on Transit rd and said what the heck, why not. So I go in and this short female employee asked if i needed help and i showed her the picture and explained my situation. She takes me over the the middle if the bolt isle and opens a drawer and POOF, Theres the very bolt I've been looking for. So with that and how friendly and kind she was made my dark rainy day just a bit brighter. If I could say Thank You I would! But I never asked for her name being I probably look like a creep or something. But really, if she only knew how much one little bolt and her friendly Help changed ones day.

The folks at Hector's Hardware are always knowledgeable about their inventory and very helpful in finding the appropriate tool or part for one's needs. A very highly recommended local hardware store that has reasonable prices and is great for repairwork aswell.

Who cannot love Hector's Hardware. In this day in age of the Home Improvement stores which have no real customer service and very few employees who know what they're talkin about or even where anything is in the store, it is nice to still have at least one hardware store in the neighborhood. I guess that places like Lowe's and Home Depot are the stores of the future unfortunately. So give this Hector's on transit in Depew a try or try another one of their chain stores. They have what you need and know where it is in the store.

This place is the BEST. Russ & crew are very helpful & this store has EVERYTHING! Not the closest hardware store for me but ….. can always find what I need here.
