New India Bazar

1st visit there .. happy with that . store size is similar to other Indian grocery around that area . They have lots of variety products which I have not seen in India C &C .. Price vise almost similar . Good part they have deals on items during weekend starting Friday and lots of variety products. Deal items are listed at entrance. Veggie are fresh . As it was my 1st visit , I don't know the store and asked lots of things and I don't see any issue with staff. They helped me for every single item I asked happily. Check out line is also moving fast and helped me to bag my stuff. Will definitely visit this store now onward.

It is mostly quite crowded, but that is kind of expected because of the friendly staff, easy availability of Indian groceries and usually lot of deals especially during the weekends.

The best part about the deals here at New India Bazar is that they are marked very distinctively with different colors. This helps a lot to get good products at right prices.

What more... if you are a loyal customer (you enter cell number after billing/purchase to track), you get something.

I have been going to this place for over 10 years even when it was Dana bazar. Never considered reviewing it. It usually has fresh Indian groceries. It has always worked. However, today I went to get some specific pooja items for Ganesh Pooja. I bought a pedestal for lord Ganesha and noticed a slight damage … the owner was very kind and helped find a good replacement in the back of the store and got a new one fixed. I have rarely seen this level of customer service in an Indian store.. thank you

Review is just for the Chaat stall inside the grocery, the taste was authentic north indian just like any delhi chaat place.
Really loved their tikki chaat and pani puri. Would highly recommend to anyone in bay area that might be missing the authentic indian chaat taste. Its spicey but well balanced and fresh as well.
Rate is pretty okay too and looked clean too.
Will be our to go spot if we have any indian chaat craving in furtue too.

Today I visited this store for the first time and really It was a very good experience. I got fresh Veggies and I'm satisfied with customer service and the manager was really a nice person. Outstanding service by employees and manager as he listens to me what I was looking for but in other Indian stores specially in Fremont they don't listen.

We shop here often as things are neatly arranged and we get what we want easily. Vegetables are fresh and packed goods are of good quality. Over the weekend, payment lines are long though.

So far my go to Indian grocery place in Fremont. Fresh veggies, variety of Indian grocery, numerous types of flours available. Neatly arranged and helpful staff.Too crowded on weekends but perfect on weekdays. They also have Pooja samagri and all related stuff. They have select Indian sweets for sale too.

Best fresh veggies I have seen in Fremont. Cheaper than other supermarkets. Very friendly service.
