Had to come back a second time to show counter staff one of their specials listed outside at pumps.

Went to get $15 in gas (top off) and purchased other items as well this morning. Completed transaction and pumped my gas; however, I was owed $1 change. My boyfriend went to get it, and the tenant had locked the door with a posted sign saying, "Be back at 5am. We ID time." It was 4:23am. Tenant went to stock cooler we assumed. Another customer pulled in, and exclaimed the door isn't supposed to be locked. He also proceeded to say he knew this because it was locked once when he stopped for emergency gas. He ended up stranded because he couldn't make his purchase. He came back and spoke to a manager about it. While my boyfriend and him were talking, I called the store number 3 times with no response. My boyfriend made a video showing the sign, no tenant in the main part of the store, the amount of gas we pumped, and stated amount owed, again $1. I don't understand: 1. Why the door would get locked for so long, especially if it's against store policy? 2. Why didn't he have the store phone with him in order to answer? 3. Why would he lock the door while serving customers that are pumping gas? Might end up owing change, such as that moment. 4. What does WE ID TIME mean exactly?? As we were leaving, there were several other cars pulling in. Congratulations, Guy!! You just cost your employer more than 30 minutes worth of sales. Great job!!

While I'm here, let me say I'm usually disappointed in the service at this location. One lady is rediculous when it comes to asking for identification when making a tobacco purchase. She will not make the sale if you don't show a NC ID. It's only required by law to present a valid state ID. It's not required to be one issued by the state in which you're making the purchase. This is a complete hassle. On another occasion, a different lady charged me .10¢ per creamer that I had grabbed. I had several. She didn't tell me that I was being charged for them. I got my total and that's how I knew, then asked about it. One lady yelled at a customer while I was there, very unprofessional. My cigars are never in stock, and even though a manager told me she'd order me 2 cartons, she didn't. I came into the store to buy them, but she never placed the order. Tenants are rude and have bad customer service skills. I dread it when I must stop here.

POS place, never stopping here again for any reason, they charged me for some cigarettes somebody else took and they didnt want to return the money but after 1 day of waiting, after looking at the cameras they realized they made a injustice against me and gave me my cigarrettes, rude customer service with little understanding.

DO NOT STOP HERE FOR ANY REASON GO TO THE SPEEDWAY!

I am tired of going there with my circle k card to save money on gas and their gas machines do not accept them for some reason. It's the closest and most convenient location to my home.
