Sunny Food Store

Friendly little store that specializes in Caribbean and Latino grocery brands and foodstuffs. Probably the best place in town to find sodas with real sugar instead of high fructose corn syrup. Many flavors of both popular American brands (Coke,Pepsi,Sprite) as well many Mexican branded sodas in delightful flavors not easily found in other stores in town.

Guy behind the counter with the glasses on is super friendly. I didn't have the correct amount of money one day and he totally trusted me to bring it back to him and I did, not too many stores will do that for you.

Great customer care

The staff are always super friendly and are always quick to a smile. I love going there even if it os a quick store.

I sent my daughter to purchase some snacks and I gave her my debit card. The owner overcharged me by 4 dollars. So I sent my daughter back and he told her that Florida charges 1 dollar tax for candy, and he charges a debit card fee. I ended up having to go myself. I broke everything down to him, and told him that Florida charges a 6 % tax on candy, I brought my receipts he continued to argue with me even though the evidence was plain as day. He then tried to lie about the price for everything even though I could see them posted in the store. He then handed me two dollars and all but told me that he won't sell to my daughter anymore I need to come in myself. Nothing but crooks, they tried to take advantage of a 12 year old girl.

This store will give you counterfeit money and will threaten to call the police and claim your trying to pass it

, they sell outdated food items

the sewer backs up into the store ,
they’ve got mold in the ice machine,
They regularly ignore customers to talk to each other in their native language
In summary
This store isn’t worth spending money there and I hope this will help others from getting taken
