One of the better thrift stores in the Triangle area and certainly in Chapel Hill/Carrboro. Proceeds go to a great cause. I primarily like the used books section, especially non fiction although they also have a lot of fiction books. Good prices: $1-2 for paperbacks and hardcovers and most of them are in great conditions. They also sell used clothing, some furnitures, electronics, CD/DVD, and other sundries. Friendly staff. Also check out their murals outside of the building! Highly recommended

CommunityWorx is one of the best thrift stores I’ve ever been to. It’s incredibly organized without taking away from that treasure hunting thrift store feeling. The items available feel well curated and it seems they’re constantly rotating their selection. The people that work there are very pleasant. I’m happy I found this place!

Got a $20 rocking chair in great condition, and a $7 velvet dress that I’m absolutely in love with! Be warned though: there is no fitting room, so you’ll need to have a pretty good eye for what would fit you well.

Sweetest Thrift shop in the area! Packed full of treasures (and the obvious junk, that's just part of the deal at this price point), friendly staff. The book section is not the biggest but by far the best organized I have seen around! Kudos to whoever is in charge of that!

I always find goodies in here. Lots of vintage things that are well-organized and displayed. The staff is also very kind. And I appreciate that they're open on Sundays.

I absolutly love this thrift store i will spend my last dollar there lol but its so great i go almost every week they have amazing stuff and great resonable prices There is a lady there that im not comfortable with but i look past that bc Im there for me and she can see that im a supportive coustomer that is there to shop like everyone else

Literally 90 percent of my furniture comes from PTA, not to mention countless other decor, kitchen supplies, clothes, I've found at PTA. Its great for finding unique, vintage, stuff for super cheap. I go once a week and am never bored. I am forever a thrift shop person thanks to PTA.

The best place to stock your wardrobe in Chapel Hill! I got 4 pairs of shoes for $8 one day, and bought 5-10 outfits for under $40 multiple times. Great stuff gets donated

Love PTA thrift. Great prices. They usually have good furniture. Decent book collection. Decent clothes collection. Friendly staff. All proceeds support Chapel Hill schools!

The stock is frequently changed, and they just reorganized their book section so it's much easier to browse. They usually have a good selection of cups and glasses too.

Lots of great finds! Some student artwork that is always fun, old electronics at fair prices, and tons of good books, not just the dime romance novels like a lot of thrift stores have.

Amazing deals on great, used items, and a cause that helps a community. If you like Goodwill, you will absolutely adore PTA thrift store (and you'll save A LOT more money).

Nice spot. Lots of good stuff. Pregnant wife found some Frye half boots for 7$, which is apparently very cheap for those boots.

I have found some amazing things here--especially in the kitchenware section. The staff is very friendly, and they are priced on par with the other thrift stores in the area.
