Carolina Food Market

I'm here to say, this grocery store will be my go to for now on. They have done a complete 180! The SMELL IS GONE. Let me repeat, the smell is gone! The shelves are STOCKED! I have avoided both going into the city and other stores thanks to Carolina Market. Very thankful for the great change they have brought our small community. Looking forward to the deli area opening in the back! Five stars all the way around.

They had chicken feet which can be hard to find. Hopefully they will stock the shelves more and get the heat fixed if they haven't already. Take over from Piggly Wiggly. Not many customers when I go, the same as when it was Piggly Wiggly. It would be good if the locals shopped there more. More customers at the Dollar General. I love having a grocery store nearby and not having to go to Wilson.

Update: Visited in March and they didn't have low sodium peanut butter. I let the owner know about it and went back and it was in stock. Awesome!!!

This place has been turned around by the new owner. We went today and it was GLORIOUS to see packed shelves! THAT MEANS WE DON’T HAVE TO GO TO DOLLAR GENERAL! Don’t sleep on the Carolina Market!

The owner said Thursdays are truck days he didn’t lie definitely better than the pig who used to be here

This place doesn’t seem sanitary. We went to find all veggies wrinkly. Checked the meat just to see it looking grey and out of date. We went 1/3 and there was meat that had a sell by date for 1/1. Didn’t feel confident buying perishable foods there.
