Shananigans Toy Shop

This toy store is a hidden gem ! Walking in and looking around brought me back to my childhood with the old school toys and board games combined with modern toys for today's child.

It was my first time in the store , free parking is available, and the customer service was extraordinary! I picked out gifts with their guidance and both my gifts were wrapped for me.

This store come highly recommend you will not be disappointed!

What a magical and memorable experience this shop was! Emphasis on "experience" because there is a vivid sense of wonderment and nostalgia that you will likely be overcome by as you explore their distinctly unique toy selection—all arranged with great care.

Couple that with the fact that the owners are as kind, genuine, and helpful as can be, and you have a one-of-a-kind experience and memory that no big box retailer could ever come close to providing.

We stopped by on a rainy Sunday and they had just closed. As I was backing out, the gentleman waved at us and said we could go in for a bit while they closed up. We wound up having a private shopping experience with the friendly and helpful owners. How many businesses do you know in Baltimore that would do that?! I can't wait to go back when I have more time to explore one of the area's last true toy and game shops.

My family was so delighted to find this store when we moved to the area. It reminded me of the toy stores I grew up with. Do not be fooled by it’s small size (compared to big box stores); they have a very large selection of items, thoughtfully chosen by their staff. They also make it easy to order in whatever it is you want if they don’t have it in stock. It’s a fun spot for children to visit - lots of things on display and toys to interact with. The staff are very friendly and relaxed. There’s never a concern of letting your kids explore - they encourage it! Price points are surprisingly reasonable and on par with what larger chain stores charge (often times they’re better). This a true neighbourhood gem and it’s definitely worth your time visiting and supporting! Highly highly recommended!

What an amazing, magical store. It took me back in time to my youth. This store a diamond tucked away in Baltimore. A bucket list stop. Just go.

Wonderful hidden gem! We stumbled across this store and I’m so happy we did! They have a fantastic, HUGE selection of toys, books, and games. It is quite a compact store with a lot of inventory, so you will definitely need to take your time to see all that they have to offer. We bought a jellycat stuffed animal and several books. It was such a pleasure to be able to support a locally owned small business. We will definitely be back!

A wonderful local, old school toy shop. We got my niece a stuffed cat toy from Shenanigans for her birthday. The staff did an excellent job wrapping everything up, great free service there. Niece was overjoyed by the stuffed animal.

Staff are all friendly and helpful. The selection is great, really nice welcoming atmosphere. It's the first place I think of when I'm toy shopping for kids in the family. Highly recommended! Shop local.

Visited this store a few weeks ago. What a great find in a lovely neighborhood. For its small size, they have a huge selection of toys in a wide array of categories. It's owned by a warm and kind couple and the prices seemed very reasonable. Found exactly what I wanted for my great-nephews. We need to support them!

"Shenanigans is a great place to buy toys. It has Playmobile, which I love. It has adorable cute toys and stuffies too. I buy things here for my friends' birthdays because it has things for all ages."

For the kid that has everything, the toys here stand out. They are unique and not expensive. A handheld telescope was a hit with a five-year-old. Also a jigsaw puzzle with certain objects only visible under a light provided.

Absolutely Amazing Mom & Pop toy shop. They really do their RESEARCH so they only have the best toys, on the shelf not junk. They are friendly and helpful. They know their products. I highly recommended I complimented the amazing selection I haven't those brands in a shop since, vacationing in Europe with family a few years ago.......

The BEST old school family-owned shop in town! The Shenanigans crew know their toys and will give incredible recommendations. They are accommodating and offer free delivery in the area and really cute wrapping. Love Shenanigans for toys and gifts for kids and the young at heart. What a nice shop this is! We went in to buy some birthday presents for our kid, and we left with much more than we expected; Shananigans has an excellent selection of puzzles, boardgames, and craft supplies, with an emphasis on toys that encourage active, imaginative play.
