Samsonite's reputation for good quality, durable luggage is what brought me into the St Augustine Samsonite Outlet yesterday; however, it was Jonathan's EXCEPTIONAL customer service that left a lasting impression and caused me to buy 6 new luggage pieces instead of just one. Jonathan's superior knowledge of domestic and international bag sizes, and specific airline requirements, is astounding. He's truly an asset to the company. When I happily handed over my credit card, Jonathan could have said, "Good day" and the experience could have ended there with a fabulous review, but Jonathan did not stop there. No. He offered - I did not ask - to set my luggage locks, and provided instruction so I could later change them at home. Then he walked me to the door, held the door open, and helped me on my way. He was never pushy, never asked me to buy anything, and was the most helpful salesperson I've ever met. IT'S TRULY THE CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR ME. Jonathan is visiting the St Augustine store from Tampa. If you are in the market for new luggage, Samsonite is always a good bet, but skip online and visit Jonathan in St Augustine and Tampa. HE'S TRULY EXCEPTIONAL!

Samsonite is lucky to have someone with Tina's kindness and customer care. She went above and beyond what was required of her, and because of the care she showed, I'm sure to come here upon my next need for luggage.

You are doing yourself a disfavor if you don't come in and talk to Hector. One of the most knowledgeable people, and not "selling" us, but informing us, and letting us make the decision. Best hour we have spent with someone discussing luggage. Who would have thought? This man knows his craft.
The quality is definitely there in their products, and after searching for a few days, and almost making a rushed and uninformed decision, we decided to pull the trigger and come from Jax to meet Hector, after reading reviews that others were impressed by him, we were also! And it is truth in saying, you get what you pay for.

Very good store. Friendly and helpful staff. I found extremely good prices and high quality products. Not a big place but has all you need for your travel for business and please. Recommended.

We needed a hard shell suitcase for a trip across the country. She also wanted a color to.stand out so not to have it mixed up with someone else. We were helped right away and where very pleased and happy with not not only the color but the price. I would recommend to give a serious look if you need luggage to come here

Personnel are rude. Heads up! Prices are better for same year online at places like Amazon. Compare here then buy elsewhere. There is no advantage to using this place.

No deals. Shop online at Samsonite instead. Person stated they don't work on commission. Then pulled a bunch of sales pitches

Do NOT buy anything from here. Purchased a suitcase from them and it broke on the first trip it went on. The store manager was unwilling to exchange or return it for a refund. She wanted us to pay to have it fixed. If this was Amazon or Costco, I wouldn’t be in this predicament.

I have been traveling every week for a month now. I have two suitcases with wheel problems and this week my wife and kids are going on a cruise. Meanwhile I have to go on another work trip. I tried to go into the store 10 minutes till closing, knowing what I wanted, however the lady working inside decided to lock up early. I know working retail is hard I did it for eight years. I’m sure she was tired and looking forward to getting off of her feet. That said, I also know as a sales manager that, even when you don’t want to do it, you put a smile on your face and you do what’s right for the customer. I don’t know that I will ever shop here again.

Untrained staffer sold oversized carry on. Store "manager" is a policy dictator complete with corporate jargon explainations who was given 2 opportunities to redeem their reputation. Avoid this place.

Unbelievable! This review is about the company itself. What a disappointment. So I purchased a backpack prior to the pandemic. The material has started to rip from the zipper. The backpack has a so called "lifetime" warranty yet samsonite has been giving me the cold shoulder for over a year! They refuse to honor the warranty and has ignored my emails to them. Yesterday I took the bag to a Samsonite store and they told me the warranty is now only 3 years! WTH! My warranty card says lifetime. Don't care about them changing their policy but you are suppose to honor the warranty the bag came with. This is a rip off! Buyer be aware and don't buy from samsonite. Also, on top of all that, the salesperson charged me 15 bucks to ship to samsonite and receipt says that if item is out of warranty, I'm responsible for payment of return shipping! Just crazy! I didn't do anything to the bag to cause it to fail. Crazy to charge customer for a warranty the company should abide to. Warranty should be all on the company, not the customer! This is more like false advertisement and dishonesty!

The girl sitting behind the counter may honestly be the worst employee I have ever encountered - she should be fired yesterday. Is it too much to ask to greet somebody when I walk in or to offer them any kind of help? She's too busy on her phone.

Sales person wouldn’t honor price on the merchandise. Said it was an old price. Also said the company wouldn’t honor the warranty on any bag purchased from Amazon.
