Big Lots

Grand Opening today December 10, 2022!
Big Lots is a discount department store selling seasonal items, furniture, food, electronics and toys. It's located right next to Gabe's, another discount retailer. If you're on a budget you can buy all of your Christmas gifts at these two stores. Big Lots, Gabe's and Dollar General are all located in the Chestnut Hills Shopping Center, Discount retailing heaven!

Easily the best Big Lots in Lynchburg area if not all of Virginia. Clean and organized and Wanda was so nice. It was nice talking with her. We bought a pool and some other stuff. Came back and shopped some more. Great people. Thanks!

Prices very good, I really enjoyed browsing store. Associates friendly, helpful and pleasant.

The manager was awful! He was yelling at an employee out in the open over being too slow. I heard him say, “If you don’t work, you’re going to get fired and then you’ll be homeless because you don’t have a job!” I heard him tell the employee that if they lose their job, they will be begging for food on the streets and might end up getting arrested!
I thought John Quiñones was going to pop up and ask me, what would you do? I felt like saying something.
I don’t know if I will ever come back to this Big Lots on Wards.

The new store in Lynchburg, VA on wards Rd needs a new store manager. He talks about his employees openly on the floor during business hours; bashing them constantly. He's not knowledge on the products he's selling. Poorly run store.

Terrible customer service.
