They helped me out a lot on their knowledge of the different types of herbs and what they are good for. I highly recommend this place if you are looking to try new herbs and their effects on the body. But it doesn't hurt to do a little extra research on your own and let them know so that they can tell others. They are very friendly and helpful.

Visited this place for the first time last week looking for loose leaf herbs so I wouldn't have to buy them on Amazon. I couldn't believe the amount of bulk herbs they have available. Things you won't find in a standard American grocery store, or Whole Foods or Sprouts ( I picked up some wormwood, mugwort and calendula). I noticed they have a good selection of essential oils too, some handmade bath items, and various other goodies. The prices are reasonable. And the employee that helped me was really nice. Solid 5/5 stars, I'll definitely be back.

I called here looking for some kava kava root the other day, after a coworker recommended this to me. I have been raised on health foods my whole life, and was raised here in the Huntsville area yet i have never heard of this place so i was shocked! So I’m glad I have found out about this place. The girl working, I can’t remember her name but I want to say it was Mara, was so sweet, friendly, and helpful. She was so personable and knowledgeable about the products and helped me out big time!! She even recommended something else that helped me out too. I will definitely be back very soon!! ❤ Love this place!

Great place to go for picking up bulk herbs or essential oils, big selection! They have a sizable selection of beer and wine brewing supplies so that's a great addition to the city since this stuff can be hard to find locally. They are also adding new and interesting items that you can't find at the big box stores like local elderberry syrup and honey, local amazing teas, polish pottery, and weird beard oil stuff from Alaska. Stop in! They are great folks!

Pearly's is my go to store for local home brewing equipment. They carry a fairly broad assortment of brewing equipment including stoppers, bottles, air locks, carboys and buckets. Their prices are incredibly reasonable and their owner has always been friendly and helpful.

I went in and had the most amazing experience. Ms Lou toke the time to go over every element I had and had me feeling better in days. I would recommend this store just as it was recommend to me. The service was awesome and extremely customer friendly and professional.

I've had a love affair with Pearly's since the 60s. Pearly's is the offspring of Pearly Gates, a cooperative natural food store, conceived by the late natural wellness guru Myrna Copeland. IMO the HSV area is lucky Myrna's daughter cares enough to continue this one-of-a-kind store. Just walking into the store gives me great joy because the smell is a heady mixture of essential oils, dried herbs, and spices from all over the world. If you're into essential oils, you'll be in heaven because there are large bottles of every oil you can imagine. Plus you can buy as little as 1/4 of an ounce up to a pint if that's what you want. I bought one ounce each of fenugreek and coriander to make a tasty tea to help me with arthritic pain and sleeplessness. I also bought some CBD honey to help one of my dogs with a bad skin condition. Pearly's also sells supplies for home brewers and wine makers. The person minding the store is named Loo, and she is an uplifting, knowledgeable woman full of helpful information given willingly without judgement. If Loo cannot answer your question she quickly consults her handy reference phone and share her finds. Go there and see for yourself... I bet you won't be disappointed.
