Very impressed with City Garage. Very personable and friendly people. Trey was very helpful in selecting a new ski package for my son's Christmas gift.

The city garage is by far the best shop around. Trey is awesome, great guy, beyond knowledgeable, will entertain all of your questions regardless of how crazy it may sound. He will spend a much time with you as needed to get you into the perfect boot or ski that you need without up selling anything. Can't say enough good about this place.

We stopped into this little shop on our first visit to Ellicottville for the weekend. From reading other reviews Trey is the owner and I am thinking this is who we talked to for a little while while there. He is extremely personable and friendly. He was so helpful when we asked if there was anywhere to ride our asphalt bikes at. He told us to head about 20 mins south into the Allegheny state park, we did and had a blast. This was a great park to visit with more than just bike riding options. Trey educated me a little on the Birks I was purchasing and I appreciated the new FYI. Stop in when you visit this quaint little town and support small business.

This place is seriously awesome!! the staff is so cool and very nice, the owner even gave me a free part to my ski boot that usually costs $50!! I definitely recommend stopping here if you are in Ellicottville, especially if you need any ski/boarding gear. 10/10. I would rate 6/5 stars if I could.

Rad shop. Lots of great higher end equipment. Amazing service. Got a set of new boots end of the 2022/23 ski season on a nice discount and great help with choosing and fitting.

This is a must stop place for anyone needing assistance with ski equipment. My dad went in originally and spoke with Trey about my current ski boots and the problems I was having with them. He answered some questions for my dad and then encouraged us to both come back in later and he could help me pick out some new boots. We came back in and he recognized my dad by name and immediately started helping me get measured and gave me some information on why my old cheap boots weren’t doing a good job for me. It’s very obvious how much Trey enjoys what he does and likes helping people. He’s very knowledgeable and explained everything in an easy to understand way for me. He ensured my new boots fit perfectly and gave me helpful information on how to put them on easier than what I was doing before. I then went back to get my skis adjusted to my boots the next day and he immediately recognized me and did an excellent job getting them adjusted. The snow conditions weren’t that great but it was 100% easier with my new boots. Next time we need more equipment we will definitely be back. Thank you!

I normally do not submit reviews of businesses but feel I must for this one. My experience at City Garage was extremely satisfactory. I was looking to purchase a new pair of downhill skis. Upon entering the store I was immediately helped by Trey who discussed my needs, steered me to what I needed and set me up with a demo right away. The demo ski was just what I wanted. I then called the store to order the skis and Connor handled the process immediately and they were ready with bindings in a few hours. The skis are perfect and my experience with City Garage was superb. I highly recommend this business!

Excellent service and very knowledgeable. Definitely will shop here from now on. I would recommend this shop to everyone. I just bought new skis a few months ago here. I absolutely love them. I was told to bring them back if I don’t love them.

No matter the season, I take my gear seriously and weigh new kit options carefully. Most shops in the region do not have a reason to focus on AT gear and no amount of web research can replace hands-on time with the kit and conversation with folks who have used it. Charlie listened to my questions and offered firsthand experience and expert opinion to dial in my new boot and binding selection. City Garage also mounted the new bindings on skis purchased elsewhere.

Great Vibe - Cool Shop - Very knowledgable and experienced staff. I have been doing business with the City Garage for many years. I have never been disappointed and always leave feeling great and excited. Shawn and Trey are very experienced skiers and have helped our entire family. Any gear or equipment I have purchased has performed exactly as described and has not failed me. I am glad to shop local when the City Garage makes it this great!

My fiancee and I went to city garage this weekend to look for some new ski gear. We bought a new pair of skis for her and I got some new boots. Very friendly staff and no pressure whatsoever to purchase anything. We got great deals too! Highly recommended!

It was a unique pleasure the other day to personally meet and ski with Sean Lowes. What I saw was a kind & caring soul who has embedded his DNA in his business, his employees, and his love of skiing at Holiday Valley. His shop is a direct look into the soul of a skier who has a true passion for the sport that extends far beyond the profit motive. I would not hesitate for a second to do business with City Garage for all my skiing needs. It is a rare trait to find people who not only talk the talk, but walk the walk!

I have an ankle that looks like a chicken wing leg bone. Tray has my boots snug and fun to use. Biggest smile - best skier. Worth stopping in for the vibes. Love it.

Ski shop oasis in western NY - this place is great. Small town shop with big ski town atmosphere. Stepping in feels just like you're in an upstate NH or VT ski shop. The owner was super helpful and friendly. I live 2 hours away in rochester, but I'll most definitely be making the trip back down here

Excellent service! These guys know what they're doing! I went in to buy a a set of cross country skies for my girlfriend and Trey went above and beyond any expiation I had regarding customer service. I plan on buying more gear down the road and I plan on buying it there.

City Garage is a boutique ski shop with excellent customer service, professional, and knowledgeable staff. I recently had an issue with my Salamon XT850's delaminating and they went over and above to ensure my skiis got the proper warranty. I will continue to be a devoted Salamon and City Garage client after this A class service. Thanks again, Doug
