Robertson's Ham / The Red Barn

I’ve been stopping here for lunch 40+ years. Love the Ham sandwich’s and Summer Sausage sandwich’s with a side of red rind cheese. Great place to stop for lunch. See ya next stop.

This place is utterly amazing. The crawfish pies tasted like south Louisiana crawfish pies (both are great), the shrimp and catfish were great, everything was just tasty. Everyone was friendly, and the food was well worth it. Definitely stop here if you pass by!

Stop then and had a brisket sandwich with coleslaw and potato salad. The brisket, sauce and coleslaw were simply amazing. Very friendly atmosphere!

I was so excited to see there’s a Robertson’s much closer to the DFW area! I went to get a lb of their magnificent beef jerky, but stayed for lunch at the little restaurant. The turkey sandwich looks pretty simple, but look closer, and there’s a big ol’ pile of sliced deli turkey on it! It was quite good. My mom got a burger, and wow, it was so good! Even the fries tasted top-notch homemade—crispy, salty, and tasty. It feels like you’re in a little home town mom and pop shop! ❤❤❤❤❤

Love this place! We stop and get jerky everytime we pass through town. The ladies that work there are always super sweet. We have never stopped to eat in the restaurant, it smells yummy.

Awesome little buffet. T,F & S 1630 to 2030. We also bought a ham but that's for Thanksgiving.

When you pull up here it's like stepping back in time! when you walk in the store it's even better and yes the gas pumps actually do work!

Traveling back home to Louisiana from the "Texas Fly Fishing and Brew Fest" in Mesquite, Texas we came across this unique delight. Some of the friendliest Folks, Wonderful Service and the Buffet was delicious! We'll definitely come back again when passing through this area!!!

Did somebody say "fried whole catfish"? Well this is the place to go on Friday or Saturday 4:30-8:30th Pm. Cooks fries them how "you" like them. This is all you can eat buffet and drink is included What are you waiting for?

This place is awesome, We were having a family reunion, and were schedule to meet at another restaurant which was closed due to remodeling issues. We called and ask if they could handle a party of fifty. This was last minute, and they were going to close down in two hour. But they were not only accommodating, the waitress treated us like royalty. The food was better than the place we were endeavoring to attend. Thank you for being there for our family.

Awesome food, and the people are very polite and friendly. Great service and great food! Highly recommend!!!! Never disappointed 🙂

I have not yet tried the buffet. But their home made desserts are awesome. I also love their jalapeno summer sausage.

Great Ham. Great Jerky. Great Turkey. Hell, even the coke here is great. Big truck parking across the access road.

Stopped in for lunch. Got the big ham sammich on wheat, loaded it with pickles & onions and spicy bbq sauce. Sooooooo good!!

We have driven by this place several times and live down the road from it and have never eaten here. We decided to stop by this evening for dinner. For my wife and I and our 2 kids it cost $40 even. We got the all you can eat for my wife and I. The kids got pizza. The fried fish and fried shrimp were excellent! Potato salad was also very good. The peel and eat shrimp was a little dry but that is the only negative. I had the cherry pie and ice cream which was also excellent. Chef kept the food coming out hot and fresh. Wait staff were very prompt in refilling our drinks and cleaning off the table. I highly recommend this place. You will definitely leave there on a full stomach.

Everything thing I had here was awesome, from the catfish to the banana pudding, and some of the nicest people you'll meet work here, highly recommend stopping by here!

This is one of the best, if not the best...all you can eat catfish and shrimp I have ever eaten. The price is right and the food is great. I ate more than I should have but it was too good to stop. The waitresses were very busy but very attentive. If you are looking for a place that has great fish come here. Thursdays - Saturdays. The rest of the week it is BBQ. They have fillets, or whole fish, fried or boiled shrimp. Desserts that will make your mouth water.

The food was very good especially the catfish and the desserts, more salad selections would have been nice beings that I took someone that's a big salad eater and not so much into the fried foods. The price was $15 as of October 2018 and that includes a drink. Note this is about the Fri/Sat night fish/shrimp buffet, they have a cafe during normal hours and also sell awesome cured meats such as beef jerky !

Oh wow!!!! This place is amazing! We were traveling through Texas on our way home for Christmas and came across a Billboard with their advertisement on it. Decided to stop and try them out. We both wanted fried catfish. If you’re ever on I-20 stop in this little family owned country store! You will not be disappointed.
