Horseshoe #4

I really like this little truck stop. Its clean. Its easily the cleanest truck stop I've ever been in. Granted, it's only a few weeks old. Even still. I hope it keeps its shine and it's "new car smell" for as long as possible because it's definitely better for it. Also, the hot deli is kicking out some very respectable breakfast. They aren't trying to gouge anybody's eyes out in exchange for low quality food.

I stop here often for gas and it's always clean.

Love their burritos, and fried foods. Oh, and now they have pizza!!!

Clean, polite, and the best garlic olives around.

The man that works there is rude. My first tike there he was standing at the door blocking off the entrench because he was hollering at the lady at the pumps. Then my son said he and his buddy went to check it out since it was a new store near by and he was also rude to them. Probably why they moved him to the kitchen. Other than that, it has everything you may need that a convenience store has to offer.

Outside was clean

I waited 25 minutes to pay. Only one cash register was open. She had been working for only. 3 days because owners cut hours. I get up to the register, I had my billfold to give her a dollar bill. Was looking for my change to hand to her. She started screaming at me that I did not hand her the 1.00 respectively. She said, “No No No, just keep your money, I dont take money from the likes of you.”. I asked her would your boss appreciate that” She informed me I don’t care, You don’t give any money to me like that. She said, “get out of this store.” I said “Fine, I will file a complaint to the Better Business Bureau” It should be on store camera. This happened 1-31-24 at 5:30 approx. I will be filing complaint today. I am telling everyone about the Horseshoe Store in Smyer about how they treat certain people.

The card reader on the pump was blocked by something, couldn't get my card into it. I went inside to pay. The cashier was on his phone, took a hit of his vape, and didn't even seem to care that the card reader on the pump was blocked. Said, and I quote "Oh, I don't know anything about that." Didn't try to write it down so someone could look at it. He couldn't even put his phone down long enough to finish my transaction. Happened about 6 pm on Feb 28, 2024

Overpriced and that’s because not one single item has a price tag NOT even drinks. Even when you call over the phone to ask for the price the lady and the guy lied saying $14 and after I asked the price again to confirm she lied again. Then we go pick up and at the register is $15.99 plus tax. I know how taxes work, but why lie??? You don’t find out price until your at the register and they’ve already rung you up. I’ll pass unless it’s an extreme emergency that I absolutely have to go to this store. Sadly they’re one of the Many that have taken advantage of hiking up prices. Leave it to the Dummies who voted to bring a “Beer store” for their convenience maybe that’s where they get their groceries too🤔

Emma the manager with glasses curly hair was charging $10dlls just to use the restroom from the shower side when their restrooms are not working. New establishment and restrooms dont work according to her..

Fuel pumps are down parking lot is muddy and the only employee has headsets on and won’t or can’t talk. Diet Coke,regular coke and diet Dr Pepper all out. I ask for a breakfast burrito and she just looked at me like………Don’t stop

They never open when they’re suppose to be, and close early all the time. An employee just standing there watching while people are trying to come in and the door is locked. Doubled checked the store hours, and way beyond past the time they’re suppose to be open. People are going to stop coming.
