Bomboy's Homemade Candy

My first visit. Won't be my last. I had to stop by after seeing their post about making fresh Irish potatoes. YUM! but left with so much more. I'm very picky about fudge. They have, by far, the best fudge ever!

This place is a real gem and local treasure. From the gummy bears, to the assorted chocolates I love the variety of sweets here. Everything tastes like it is made with love and care for the people that are going to be eating them. Very rich but the perfect consistency with taste and wonderful customer service. What a joy this place is and fun to look around. Easy to access and a lot of parking. I will be back!

This is an awesome place. For people who have a sweet tooth, it is definitely a haven. Candles tasted fresh and delitful, but pricey.

There’s just no better candy out in the world! I miss my HDG hometown and always make sure to stop here when I come to town. I’ve watched them expand from the tiny store across the street now the ice cream shop.
So many choices, you can’t go wrong. I personally love sponges and local crab snappers, lobster shaped gummies. So cute!

Customer service is just as sweet as their chocolate!

Brought the kids there to pick out a treat, the workers were amazing with the kids and even gave them a few samples to taste. Priced fairly and everything was delicious. Definitely a place to stop at if you are in the area.

You'll find something for everyone who has a sweet tooth here. Love their chocolate! I always come for holiday goodies and occasionally a treat for myself.

We love Bomboys!!! Tried the sugar free candy for the first time yesterday. You can't tell it's sugar free. I'm sure it has sugar alcohol and will ask the next time we visit.

Their regular chocolates are so good. The truffle selection is one our favorites.

Our puppies love these milk bones, as a special treat.

My first time here to try the homemade ice cream 🍦😋. I had the Oreo cheesecake and it was divine. A must when visiting Havre De Grace. Just one more thing I love about this town. Directly across the street is Bomboy chocolates.

What a lovely place to grab a sweet chocolatey snack or the perfect gift for any occasion. Staff is super friendly and they have a wide variety of options.

If you love the smell of chocolate, go into this store! Sit down on the white wooden bench just inside the door to the right and breathe very deeply!

After a few minutes, get up, browse all the self serve, prepackaged candies, but make sure you don't miss the service counter running the length of the back of the store. There is pretty much any mix of chocolate goodies you can think of. Take your time, the staff is very helpful.

If you are getting the candy/chocolate as a gift, there is a clever carousel of cards and many stuffed animal toys you can combine to create a truly individual gift. There are also specialty chocolate creations (baseball, sailing, etc.).

If you're going in the spring or summer, add a stop at the ice cream store across the street!

Absolutely the best homemade chocolate ever. Great for all occasions, even have yummy treats for the dogs. I am so happy they are still in business.

I came to Havre de Grace for the Bomboy ice cream which was good, but not outstanding. However, the Bomboy candy shop was everything a candy shop should be. I thought it was going to be a tiny shop with overpriced fudge and a few chocolates to choose from. I was wrong, and it was amazing! As soon I opened the door the smell made me go in. There were hundreds of candy options and every one I tried was awesome.

I come down here once a year just so I can buy $100+ of chocolate and cross the street to eat their ice cream. Worth every mile and penny to enjoy their lovely chocolate and gummy assortments.

Superior quality taste and with an astounding and mouthwatering array of selections. Their chocolates are fresh and rich with chocolate flavor. Creams, nuts, combos, chews….all premier class. Their vast selection offer satisfaction to every taste, with fruit jelly, licorice, marshmallow, imaginative and apoess asking novelty confections, and chewy candy selections. Prices are fair too. . We went to Bomboy's Homemade Ice Cream right across the street from the candy store twice in the 3 days we were staying in Perryville. It was delicious!! You have to make this a stop if you are in the area. Huge servings. We got the waffle cones mint chocolate chip, kockamocha, duck duck goose, chocolate madness, and vanilla & chocolate. Just got back to NY and kids already asked when we can go back. Indoor and outdoor seating available.

Extremely cute little handmade candy/chocolate shop. Their candies are delicious and fairly priced. The employees were very friendly and helpful. They also have the cutest valentines day boxes!
