Cathedral Thrift House

Me and my partner often visit this store, and we love it there. It's a fantastic spot with an old-world charm. If you know what you're looking for— I have found many a collectors' pieces at ridiculously low prices. The staff is helpful and kind, and are genuinely informed and invested in the products and customers.

Favorite store in Atlanta- Thrift or not. Volunteer staff is lovely. The store is curated. If you want a junk shop, this isn't it. They raise money for their charities and also donate goods that don't fit their plan to other nearby thrift stores - nothing goes to waste! Such a great place!

We stumbled on this while on our way to a Goodwill store down the street. We were greeted by the sweetest ladies working in the store. Everything was so clean and well organized . It reminded me of the nice estate sales we have back home in Mississippi.
I saw many designer clothes at great prices. I picked up several vintage cake stands that one of the ladies who worked there had previously donated. I also found a long silk tapestry pillow for $30! This pillow was worth $$$!
The ladies were so helpful and wrapped everything so well for our trip back home. She even helped us to the car with our purchases.
We are looking forward to shopping with you again when we go back to Atlanta.

I’ve driven by this place many times and was never able to stop by when they were open. Finally one day before the COVID lock down I was able to stop by during their normal business hours. I was overwhelmed and delighted with their antique book collection. Love love love their book collection. The most friendliest people I’ve ever met. Now I’m a repeat customer.

I love this thrift shop! It's clean and well-stocked, and I always leave with something. This is my favorite place to shop for used books in Atlanta, outside of library sales. We've also bought puzzles, magazines, and mint julep cups. Over the years, I've even found high-end pieces (a Theory skirt, a cashmere-blend sweater, Ermenegildo Zegna pants) at fractions of the original prices. Absolutely worth the trip.

I’ve been browsing this shop since they were on Peachtree Street, our maid turned us on to this place in the 1970s. As far as the 1 star reviews, if you’re from out of town you are welcome to move back, we are full. And yes, the ladies watch folks because people steal. Do you know why they started following folks around? Rich white donors in their Mercedes and BMWs were walking out with stuff, I watched a lawyer I knew steal a bracelet and just walk out!

Wonderful place. Great selection of merchandise at incredible prices and a friendly staff. I also love their music soundtrack.

Staff go out of their way to make your shopping experience positive. High end items at unbelievably low cost.
