Putnam Market

Putnam Market has all the essentials one needs to set up an apartment or to present a nice picnic. They have a wide variety of prepared food salads, dips, and beverages. Specialty ingredients and dietary guidelines are available too.

Absolutely impressed with this place. The Mississippi Mud Square and carrot cupcake were divine; all the baked goods were look delicious. Eager to explore more of their offerings on my next visit. Can't wait to go back for another delightful experience!

My favorite spot in Saratoga for lunch.

Whenever I have the opportunity to grab lunch in Saratoga this is my go to every time. They have great fresh sandwiches and a nice cozy spot to sit and eat. This place seems like something you’d find on a street corner in New York City.

And you forget they are a market also! From cheese, condiments, wine and sauces, they have so much! Most of the time I come for a sandwich and end up shopping. If you’re looking for a quick bite, definitely stop here!

They have the best gazpacho in town, in the state…maybe the world.

I love a Putnam Market sandwich whenever I am visiting home! I order an item that used to be on the menu: a grilled cheese with sourdough break, mozzarella, tomatoes, balsamic vinegar, and pesto mayo. I'm not sure if it is the exact same ingredients that used to be on the Triton, but its very similar. I also love to get the Battenkill Valley Chocolate Milk there.

Great food! A perfect place for EXCELLENT to-go sandwiches. A few tables to eat and a food bar to choose some pre-made food.

Great food for lunch. They offer quality sandwiches built with care. A very good selection of edibles. It is a bit crowded at certain times, but for take out a great treat.

We ordered a small cake and cupcakes for my sisters baby shower. Pick up was simple, the store was clean, smelled amazing, and had more treats than I could taste in a lifetime! Plus, the cupcakes were absolutely delicious!

I called Putnam Market on a Thursday. And requested a Coconut Cake to feed 12 for pick up that Saturday. The first question they asked was, "What are you envisioning?" I told them. And they nailed it. Not only did the cake look beautiful, it was delicious! When upstate, Putnam Market is my go to for cakes.

Always can find both what I need and want, quality, consistent and one of a kind - from Catering to Cakes. Here is an example of our recent order for a custom cake. Thank you for making our small gathering special and unique during such a difficult pandemic time where whimsical and fun was a "must". Most of all - literally the best tasting cake ever. Not a crumb left on the plate.

If you were out running around Sarasota, you need to stop by here because their food is so good even a foodie would want to copy it

This place never disappoints. To whoever made my sandwich on 7/2/23 @12pm you deserve a raise. I always get the Catherine sandwhich and it is always delicious but today it was amazing. Beautiful made and taste so fresh. I appreciate you guys so much !

Came in today just to glance at their selection, first time ever being here. I had my almost 2 year old with me, which can be a challenge in a lot of public places. We were greeted by many smiling faces. Got a deli sandwich nicknamed “The Catherine” which was delicious. Accompanied with their white bean chicken soup which also quite tasty. Asked for 2 pickles, one for me, and one for my little guy. They gave us 3! 🥰 how to make a toddlers day! Everyone here has an amazing personality and seems to be right where they belong. We will absolutely be returning!

In addition to the wonderful food, sandwiches and baked goods, Putnam has a great variety of specialty items that make great hostess gifts or takealongs for a get-together or picnic. But the best thing about this gem of a store is the service. I recently had a fairly large order and Putnam turned it around a day ahead of schedule because we were anticipating a big snowstorm. I didn't ask for that special service -- they just did it! What a wonderful surprise! Great service, great people, great food!

Great deli in Saratoga on Broadway in main part of the city..

Great but expensive. Drink, chips and sandwich will run ya 20+ bucks. But hey, subway is 15+ and 1/80th the quality! Definitely a Toga staple.

great lunch bar, sandwiches, soups, caramels, and best petit fours. great customer service. after leaving, I looked at my order to find an item missing. called and despite them closing, they set the item aside for me to pick up. greatly appreciated since I live far away and couldn't make it there another day.
