Great finds in this place. They have everything you need to setup a new apartment. Great prices and the people are really friendly. Plus they really care about the community and don't get many monetary donations to help them provide services.

Everytime I go there, I find my items. Helpful friendly people. I brought small couch, 3 lamps, dresser, chest, pair of glass end tables. And a black chair. A small turntable. Camera bag. Have to look and search, lots to look at. I always go back just to see what they have.

Good prices they deliver for $50 we had only one problem they brought a pet with couch which cause us some problem cause it got loose in house was a rat not just one but family was couch wasn't fun trying to get out when disabled eventually got rid of ratslet them know they apologize we have bought other things that were treasure will go back and buy things

I went in for the first time about a month ago, and I was amazed by the quality of furniture they had to offer, and then was blown away by the prices! Within 5 minutes of browsing the furniture section of the showroom, I had selected a beautiful cream leather chair and ottoman ($10) and a mint condition cherry wood desk with drawer ($25), and confirmed the amazing price! I learned that delivery was available, and opted for it. Ed was prompt, friendly, and so great that I ran to my vehicle and gave him a $5 tip for his service. I highly recommend this business, and agree that it is so much better than Goodwill or any national chain thrift since the staff and the service are so stellar. Truly doing GOD's work.

I have been going to our fathers closet for over 10 years to donate and to buy items. The workers have always been friendly and helpful, and the variety of items and great prices are wonderful. I like this business very much, much better than any other thrift store around. Also, I've discovered that many workers here are fluent in Spanish, which is a great bonus for customers. I'd rate this store well above a 10 for excellence. If it seems a little cluttered to some customers, that's because of the abundance of items available.

I have been looking everywhere for 2 specific chairs for my dining room. I found them here and only paid $12 for both. Their prices are amazing, they are so friendly, and so much to pick from. I found more then I thought I would. Definitely going back. Who doesn't like a bargain.!!

This place is so much fun. You do have to have a good eye and rummage a bit but you can definitely find hidden treasures. They deliver which was huge for me and delivery was early to avoid the rain. The gentleman were so nice, dropped piece off right in my garage and were off.

This place is amazing! It's a real thrift store, a real bargain hunter's paradise. They always have great prices - no overpriced garbage like the big boys. Of course, that means you might have to hunt, sort, pick and clean up a tresure when you find it, but that keeps the prices low. You can literally go every week and find great stuff. I always start here when I'm hunting items. Even when they have primo items, the prices don't get crazy. Please go and check them out - see for yourself.

On top of being a great thrift store, they help DeLand. A LOT. So grace them with your dollars and donate stuff you don't want here. It will go much further and stay local when you include them in your donation stations.

I love this place and so does everyone I know. I hate to give a good review because I don't want anyone else to find it! Habitat for Humanity used to be my go to place but they fancied it up ( which was nice) but the prices shot up higher than new. I also think the people at Our Fathers Closet are much nicer. After hours they go over and beyond to make sure the property is as neat as can be when you pass by. I try to stop there before grocery shopping but I generally don't get to the grocery store because I go straight home with my fun purchases from Our Fathers Closet. They'll help load your car or deliver for small free. Little stuff to living room and dining room. How many times have I gone home to "think about it" and it's gone the next day! My favorite expression....I should have bought it when I saw it!

I have had multiple occasions to use My Father's Closet and have been astounded at how good the customer service is. Friendly, efficient. I could go on and on. Love these people!

2 tips. 1) is they are cash only. 2) though the front room is air conditioned the majority is not. No knock on them, they are a nonprofit organization helping others..plus they work in it so its tough to complain. I would suggest to visit in the morning if u can't be hot.

I donated furniture and housewares to Our Father's Closet. They not only helped me with unloading the U-Haul, but seemed genuinely thankful that I donated these goods. I realize some of the items they may not have wanted, but they were still nice to us.

Very big and crowded (like a well-organized hoarder's shed) but has affordable furniture and other household treasures if you are willing to look through a LOT of junk. Their prices are great. Staff is always busy but helpful.

I don't know what anyone saying staff had attitudes and we're rude is talking about. Only encountered one worker there so far who could have just been having a bad day. Otherwise, I find that some fellow customers tend to have been rude and snippy, but staff has seemed friendly, and prices are quite fair and sometimes negotiated.

Much bigger inside than you would expect. Cheap prices and some really decent stuff.

I have furnished almost my whole house at a severe discount. The secret is to go often and have an open mind. Be willing to do minor repairs or repaint items. The prices are so low they make Goodwill look like retail. Think about them when you are donating too. That is the secret to low prices.
