I had a wonderful time meeting Theresa and looking around the shop. She has a wonderful selection of Malabrigo, some beautiful sock yarns (including a local dyer's who creates colorways for the shop), and much more. I am so excited to call this my (almost) local yarn shop (LYS). Absolutely worth the drive!

Nice, clean, inviting shop with lovely variety of yarns and color. Owner is friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Prices are fair for each selection. Some variety of accessories are available and there are classes/workshops/gatherings to improve or expand individual levels of expertise.

The Yarn Shop Around the Corner is exactly what’s needed for the local fiber community to thrive and grow! Teresa (owner) is very welcoming! The shop carries several lines of yarn in various fibers and colors suitable for many projects. Perfect for a quick visit or to sit and knit/crochet!

I was looking for Brown Sheep wool yarn and was happy to discover this shop near Lake Martin while searching for local retailers! We need a yarn store in the area. The owner showed me the different wool yarns I could use for my nalbinding projects. I’ll be back for more.
