Best chicken in town made fresh daily in the deli. The chicken tenders can't be beat, they're really good.
Their flower department is always got some of the prettiest flowers around.

This store always has what I need in stock & that beats saving $0.04 on a can of soup. Also- if you clip digital coupons (before going into the store since the signal isn’t great in there), you will find that it’s cheaper than Walmart. Cashiers actually check you out & bag your groceries….like a real grocery store!!! And people are available & happy to help. 💙

Love this grocery! It is so much easier to get what you need and get out-unlike larger groceries, but they have great quality produce and meats. I feel like they do a great job of carrying a good variety of practically everything. So, I would rather go here than anywhere else if I can.

Pretty busy, Store was clean and plenty of registers open. I would recommend this place to others.

Always a pleasant visit there. Everyone friendly and helpful. Like the idea of directing to checkouts that are less busy. Love the light Kroger French Silk ice cream and the Pineapple Cocanut Yogurt they carry. Nice store with great people. This store have things the large super stores don't have. Like the sales they have on a variety of things and coupons I receive in mail.

It's a good small-town grocery store. Usually stocked well and not very crowded. I wish they would consistently keep jalapenos in stock though--- it's usually a 50/50 chance that they'll have them. I hate having to run to Walmart to get them. I like that I can use my Kroger account there. Staff are top notch- helpful and friendly.

New selections are great! Always friendly service. When our online coupon didn't multiple like it should've, the courtesy desk was more than happy to fix the problem in a timely matter. Thank you Brooke! 😁

Great place to shop. Every one is extremely helpful and friendly. Meat and produce is fresh. Usually have short lines at checkout. Very good selection in all sections. But the employees make all the difference.

Always a pleasure shopping at the Jay C. Every organization gets it's personality from the top. They treat you like best friends. Always helpful and keeping the store clean and well stocked.

English JayC is the neighborhood premium grocery store. The store is kept clean and the Staff are friendly and helpful. The produce is very good and the available berries are favorites. The deli offers potato salad and tasty fried chicken!

This store has an amazing vegetable selection which is very important as I have a vegetarian in the family. Bakery also great. Clean and we'll stocked throughout.

This is our go-to place for groceries. We love the people there and their products are wonderful.

I love Jay C's. I was concerned when Kroger bought them out and I used to hate how they changed the signs above the aisles. They used to only say what was only on one end of the aisle and not the far end. They fixed that. Their deli fried chicken is better than anyone's when it is fresh and they do an excellent order business for big orders. There are better grocery stores out there but not in Corydon. I go to them first, every time.

The staff is always super helpful and friendly. I love the points earned by using my Jay C/Kroger card. Saves a ton on gas. Plus, you get double points during weekends.

Great checker. Was in the express lane and she helped me unload my cart and got me checked out in record time. Very much appreciated. Also great prices on good meat and poultry.

Great experience, great customer service

Since being bought out by Kroger, this store has greatly increased the variety of foods sold here. They also offer a wide range of low cost options and the reward points when using a Jay C card can save you a bundle in gas.

Sunday evening, lots of shoppers, and some shelves getting low but it looked like all hands on deck. All checkouts open and moving quickly. Lots of staff up front and in the aisles. Impressive.

I have changed my rating of 3 to 5 stars for Corydon JC store; which several years ago was bought by the Kroger franchise from Cincinnati Ohio:(
Although the store has changed hands, the people who work there, from our local community, have not changed.
Very Recently, I had a baby shower for my eldest daughter, who is expecting her first; my first grandchild.
I had put in an order at Walmart for a couple of different Buffet trays for my party. (Meats n cheese, veggies)
The morning of, my husband went to pick up the trays from Walmart. They told him, "they never received an order."
*I still have the book they gave me from the platters that they offered on the day that I ordered those trays from them.
My husband then went to JC's Deli. They were extremely busy that morning. He asked them if they could make a couple trays for us, when the lady behind the counter told him they could possibly have them ready by 2; which was generous.My poor husband just about melted in front of the woman, because our party was at 12:30.
This woman, taking pity on my husband, (I do not know her name) she told him she would have it ready by noon. And she did.
I want to thank that staff in The JC Deli personally and tell them how grateful I am for them being so diligent in their jobs & for always being good to their neighbors.
I am a customer for life!

Local grocery store owned by Kroger. Yes, your Kroger card works. Discounts for fuel at on site gas station. The Added bonus of not being a crowded superstore.
