I love this little hidden gem for everything Authentic Indian. The fresh fruits and vegetables are actually fresh and not a week past toss out dates. Unusual in comparison to other places I've visited.
The store is small but filled with all sorts of delicious items to make an authentic dish. I highly recommend this Authentic Indian store.

I love this store because it's hard to get Indian spices and snacks in providence. This store has everything you need. Also, the uncle who works there is the nicest :) he'll help you with whatever you need.

I shop here frequently, it has everything you’ll need from an Indian store. Mr. Dewon, the owner, is the friendliest person you will ever see. He takes his time to make the customers satisfied. Highly recommend this place.

Definitely loved their beef biriyani and chicken Karahi. Really unique, delicious, gourmet food. Their add-ons are absolutely flavorful, savory, and mouthwatering! Tried their mango lassi and chai - both are superb. The garlic naan was baked to perfection and decorated flawlessly.

I would definitely come back here whenever I visit providence.

You need to take your time in this tiny store in the corner of Hope St, the floor-to-ceiling shelves have a lot to discover! The shopkeeper is always very helpful and kind! This is as local as you can get, they have spices, fruits, tea, veggies and so much more! My favourite store!

One of the best places to buy Indian groceries. The vegetables are always fresh particularly the okra. Excellent selection of all the spices and frozen stuff that you need. Most importantly the uncle who works there is the sweetest person on the planet :)

A great, unexpected surprise! This shop has a fantastic selection of spices, produce, and grocery goods, centered around Indian cuisine. I walked away paying $12 for spices - with the amount I got, you’d have to pay probably 5x as much at major grocery stores.

Customer service was fantastic, even with me walking in 20 minutes before closing time. The man there was extremely friendly and courteous, more than willing to answer my questions and help me.

I’ll definitely be back again & again!

Great little market on the Eastside of Providence. They carry lots of fresh produce, and lots of different spices/rice/breads, etc. Prices are very reasonable with great customer service. I'm here at least once a week and always greeted with a smile. They also have a restaurant across the street (Not Just Snacks) that has great tasting Indian/Bangladeshi foods. You can sit and eat indoor/outdoor. They also have some pre-made foods to go.

Super cool little shop that seems to have most or all of the pantry essentials for Indian cuisine. It's also very convenient if you just need a couple of onions or some garlic and you don't want to deal with parking/waiting in line at Stop and Shop or Whole Foods.

Very small store but packed with a lot of spices and other foods. Prices are really good here. Just shows how you get ripped off at the big stores.

You can mostly find all Indian spices in this store. The place is owned by an old man who is always there to help you locate things Incase you cannot find one. In this stop you also get fresh chicken and fish. The Hilsa fish that they have is from river Padda and it’s really one of the best Hilsa I have eaten by far. The shop is a little expensive compared to Patel brothers but again it’s within the city reach.

Authentic Indian food. Boneless chicken korma was delicious, as were their vegetable samosas. The roti was also really good as was the tarka dal and lentil soup. There is a bathroom on the main level (I thought I recalled having to walk down a flight of stairs a year+ ago) and outdoor seating in addition to inside seating. They do not have a wine/beer license, but are happy to let you byob (there's a liquor store across the street). The staff are friendly and helpful. Don't let the name put you off: their food is the real deal. Sorry: so hungry I forgot to take photos!

nice little shop with a decent selection. I got what I came for, pappadums and asafoetida, but there's so much more so I'll be back soon. I also want to check out their little restaurant across the street, Not Just Snacks.
