I just had an emergency situation occur where the CVS pharmacy nearby where I live ran out of my son’s antibiotics. I was freaking out because it’s Saturday and already 5PM & MOST CVS pharmacies close either at 5PM or 6PM. I also didn’t understand why they didn’t bother to give me a call or text to let me know they were out which is unusual because they’d typically send me a text to keep me updated about any prescriptions. The pharmacy told me they wouldn’t have it back in stock until Monday, but we needed it now because he’s suffering from a bad ear infection that’s been giving him a fever, sore throat & a bad persistent cough.

I called around other pharmacies and of course they said they do have it but since it’s already so late, they wouldn’t even be able to fill it for him until tomorrow. Then they told me to try this CVS Pharmacy on Bonanza and Lamb. After reading their reviews on Google and seeing all the negative comments about them never answering their phone, I was a bit worried and discouraged. I called anyways to see if I can get through. While I was on hold, I asked our son’s father to give our pharmacy a call to have them check if this pharmacy even had his prescription in stock so we could just send his prescription over before they close and thankfully enough, they said they do and should have our prescription ready by 6:30PM.

But again, because of all the negative reviews I read, I was a bit skeptical about them really having it and if it would even be filled in-time today.

While I can comment that their wait time on the phone was about 25 mins, compared to other pharmacies where they usually pick up their phone within 3-5 minutes; I’m just happy and ecstatic they picked up AT ALL and was very kind and helpful on the phone. Compared to the hour other reviewers had mention, I WILL TAKE IT! And considering they are a pharmacy that’s 24-HR, I’m sure their workload is far greater than that of their counter-peers at other locations who aren’t 24/7. So please everyone, try to be patient with them too. Thank you for answering, thank you for confirming that you did receive our prescription and thankful for providing us the time of when we should expect it to be filled! We are so thankful for your service and thankful we can rely on this location when we really need a prescription filled late & last minute!

Their customer service was exceptional. Everyone was nice and welcoming. had a question about a product, and Regan didn't hesitate to help and actually found the product i was looking for. Overall, my experience with this location was outstanding.

I've been with this CVS for years. They are always professional and compassionate. I would recommend them to anyone.

Sharon was extremely helpful and kind. Even though my transaction did not go as I hoped she kept the conversation light and polite. Great Customer Service. Don't burn her out. Obviously this store needs her.

I found out that according to the one I talked to in the pharmacy, they don't grab new prescriptions from another pharmacy. I was with my husband trying to help out one of my sisters. But, everything worked out just fine.

Every time I've had an issue everyone tries to help. Good people there.
