Manna African Caribbean Market

I've been here a few times, and everybody is super sweet and helpful. Found what I needed for a recipe, and they offered to order a spice for my mom. Love the spices, and the prices are reasonable. Love the store, can't wait to come back.

This place is absolutely amazing. I finally found a market that sells steak catfish. From now on this will be my go to meat market. I never had oxtails and I tried those with the help of the owner walking me through the steps on how to prepare the meat. I wanted to try and make an African meal for the first time and the owner helped me prepare for that. The meat turned out amazing and very flavorful I must say! OMGGG!! I made fufu, soup with goat meat and oxtails. Its family ran so everyone was knowledgeable and extremely helpful and nice. One hour I spent shopping and asking questions 🤣
Lastly, I like that the food isn’t processed so much and you are getting more natural ingredients. This store comes highly recommended by myself.!thank you all for adding such a nice touch to Fort Wayne.

Reasonable prices compared to similar stores. Staff was friendly. Today they had live crabs from a supplier in Chicago who sources live crabs from Florida.

We came across Manna by accident and were very pleased! The owner was so gracious and helpful. We found purple sweet potatoes! The prices of the spices and beans we purchased were very reasonably priced. We will definitely return!

I am very glad I stopped in here. The owner was very friendly and helpful. I left feeling very hungry and anxious to try to cook some fufu and red soup :)

For such a small size the shop had a very nice selection and the owner was clear that if I was seeking something that she did not have that should would be happy to obtain it. I hope to return (I live 2 hours away or I would intend to return often)

This is the most inviting store I've ever been in my whole life. I was coming to get cassava flour for fufu cause I wanted to try it. I had been googling dishes on YouTube (lol) I want to eat more healthy and nutritional food as I'm tired of eating the American way. "Maguy" the owner is one of the most nicest women I've ever met also helpful. She gave me her number and directed me on what would be a good option for me to cook and allowed me to call her sfo she could walk me through it. I am forever grateful for finding this hidden gem ❤ the options they carry are perfect and they carry some imported drinks soft drinks that WERE THE MOST AMAZING DRINK I'VE EVER TRIED.

Maggie is so sweet and kind! I moved from DC back to Fort Wayne and was in search of an African grocery store. African food is healthy, organic and natural. Anyone who is looking to eat healthy food should go to see Maggie! She tells you how to make different African recipes from different countries in Africa as well. Even if you are not African but wanting to expand your cooking to incorporate international recipes, this is the place to go! People from the states need to get away from unnatural and processed food. Eating different foods from Africa helps your overall health. Visit this place! They are so helpful and kind! I will come back here for sure!

Literally my fav authentic market to visit. She’s so sweet and extremely helpful with recipes and certain ways to tweak them. Customer is impeccable here!!! So welcoming and remembers who you are when you come back. Can’t wait for her to give me the okra soup recipe!

Stopped into Manna today for the first time and would 10/10 recommend. The owner of the store was so kind and welcoming. She was so thorough in explaining different options available at her market and how to best prepare them. She gave us a recipe to make an entire meal and we are so excited to try it! If I could give more than 5 stars I would! Stopped in to Manna today with limited knowledge of African cuisine. My Girl Scout Troop is doing a project on Nigeria. The owner was so patient, helpful, and welcoming. She helped find foods that we could try and how to make them. We will definitely be returning and staying in touch for future learning experiences.

Manna has the best customer service I have ever experienced. The owner was so friendly, willing to help in any way possible, and made me so comfortable shopping for new products. I visited Manna African grocery store a few weeks ago. I was looking for Teff flour. Of course they had it in stock. The young lady, Maggie, was so helpful, nice, and professional. I shared with her that I was looking for cooked African cuisine. She told me it was coming soon. I will be checking back. I enjoyed my visit there. Thanks Maggie!!

Just went there and talked with the owner about recipes and foods that would work with my family goals and taste buds. Got some tasty, salted cod and some Japanese Sweet Potatoes. Such a clean and nice building and will try and come 2x a month just to get more African, Caribbean, and World foods!

They have lots variety among their Africa-sourced food items. Reasonable prices!

Friendly, great prices. They carry turmeric powder, and wheat berries, which difficult to find. They have a vast supply of Palm oil, which is a good source of vitamin e, tocotrienols, the better vitamin e that has been shown to lower cholesterol, from Dr Berg, YouTube researcher. Quinoa here also at a good price.
Overall, the atmosphere and LOVE HERE IS HEAVENLY!!! I will be back again and again.
