I was turned on to these guys by an amazing fisherman, Bill Schultz. I have been using the Gopher jigs for two years and have had the best luck. Their customer service is second to none. Place and order and it ships immediately. Before my initial order I described the type of fishing to determine which hooks to get and they were super helpful. The chartreuse does not chip at all.

Gopher Tackle makes the best mushroom style jigs in my opinion. I have caught hundreds of smallmouth bass on these jigs and they never failed me. They are made very well and are good quality. I like the variety of different colors and sizes they provide. Ray & Stacey are great people to work with. I buy LOTS of jigs. Why I totally recommend these people is they make a 3/16 oz jig which you'll find becomes your go-to jig size all year long. They clean out the eye, use sharp hooks and the paint is colorfast. Customer service is excellent. Great outfit.

Gopher Tackle is an historic tackle manufacturer dating to the 1970s when they perfected the mushroom head jig design for “jig worm” fishing. Some 20 years later, Ned Kehde, father of the ned rig, used Gopher jigs to perfect the “finesse style” fishing we all use today. His favorite design was a 1/16 Gamikatsu 1/0 hook in a hot red color. The hooks are razor sharp and never rust unlike so many brands. The hooks are the perfect wire as they will flex just enough to pull free from most hang ups. These are simply the best you can buy.
