Fantastic old school Italian shop with all wonderful food selection. Lots of variety of pasta, Cookies, homemade sausage and fresh hoagie. Parking right next door makes it very easy to visit. Highly recommend

Love this place!!! Fantastic customer service- friendly, helpful , hometown feel. Great hoagies and deli selection. A really nice selection of Italian imports (sauces , pasta, cookies, candies, etc.) considering the smaller size of the place. Cannoli cookies from Brooklyn are a hit with our family. Easy to find and it’s helpful that they have a side lot for parking.

Just went here for the first time today since moving from Philadelphia. I have to say this place didn't disappoint at all. I got 2 hoagie 1 mild 1 Hot. Both were out of this world. Keep up the good work Guys/girls. I will be back for sure.

I been Eating Catalano’s Hoagie’s for a long time I really love the hoagies and the cold pizza from here ! The location it’s really easy to find and MOST of the staff here it’s friendly prices are affordable and they always have some goodies like sweets that you can get here that you can not find anywhere else if you are not from Scranton you should stop buy and try their hoagie and cold pizza !!

This place is out of this world good. The quality of their Italian deli food is authentically awesome as well as low prices. Quick and friendly service. I am Florida resident, but NEVER miss an opportunity to eat there when in Scranton. Please come to South Florida😁

I went the other day for the first time and the hoagies were awesome. I'm not a big fan of peppers, but the peppers on both the hot and mild hoagies are delicious!! I loved the hot hoagie and would definitely recommend it. They also have some great Italian drinks that are worth trying, and my partner was able to find candy that they haven't had since they were a kid 🩷 Also, the staff was so friendly and patient.

Miss this joint.......living in Tx now. Grew up in Scranton and used to work here selling lemon ice in the summers. Chances are if you ate a lemon ice in the ealry-mid 80s it was from me or my bud Jerry. Somebody send me some fawkin hoagies....................

The best Italian hoagies ever..I brought my fiancé there a couple of years ago,she is from the hills of Tennessee,Since that day she can’t get enough of that Catalano’s taste..It blew her mind that a hoagie so simple can be so good.Just goes to show simple is better.

Some if not the best traditional Italian hoagie in Scranton. But that also goes with their homemade Italian Ice and their soft serve ice cream is so rich and creamy not to mention Italian cooking Basics and Essentials and a great deli

Love this store/deli. They have the ethnic food my fiance loves so I can cook with. We love their pre-made subs. Their fruits and vegetables are always fresh and their deli is delicious!!!!

Good place to grab some unique Italian products. Came in for Italian coffee grounds ad walked out with a few little addtional treats. Great Italian subs(about 14 inch long). Paul the owner I believe, is a great and approachable person, gave me sub in house. If in Scraton, pass by for a quick visit, I am sure you'll a little item or two to purchase.

Nice to have a neighborhood grocery store around. The hoagies are the best. You have to try the lunch meats, you won't find the quality anywhere else!

Love this store, the hoagie's, Italian treats and the outstanding rolls and breads. Try the Italian sausage....yum. This family has served the community and surrounding area for generations, and you just cant get enough of the Italian choices of cold cuts and other food choices. They found the cookies I wanted for a party this weekend and are so nice plus they have the BEST Italian hoagies around!

Crash land yourself back in old days with a Italian corner shop. It's not big at all inside. The make their subs right there, the real way. If your afraid of people touching ur subs with bare hands then this ain't for you. They have cookies from Brooklyn in a cooler and a ton of pastas and sauce. Not what you average grocery store carries. Have patience when your inside. Parking is on the road or parking lot on the side.

If you have never tried their counter hoagies, you don't what your missing. They have sweet and hot and they are outstanding. Their homemade sausage is some of the best around! Stop by and check out all the other great stuff. You'll keep coming back for those hoagies!

Man, the hoagies are sooo yummy!! And my 12 year old son really liked the pizza. I didn't try it. We're getting some for dinner tonight! My bf's mom hasn't had the hoagies in many years but we just had some a couple of weeks ago. You should get one if you haven't ever had one!!
