Terrible Herbst Convenience Store

This place is awesome for a cold drink in the middle of your workday the clerk help me get a better deal on what I was buying too

Went in to grab a bottle of water on 5/28/23 at around 3:30pm. Tall slender African American employee was near the counter. After seeing me stand there a few minutes he says "I ain't ringing nobody up." As he's on the phone cursing and making a scene with bags of trash around the register. Get someone that's wants the job, or at least someone that'll do it. I just walked out without what I needed.

If I could rate my experience a negative 1000 I would. I was confronted by an irate customer who accused me of stealing his car wash. I presented the clerks proof of purchase from my credit card recent transactions, however they sat idly by listening to this customer call me expletives, cursing and shouting racist and derogatory names. Neither clerks told the irate customer to leave, however the Caucasian male clerk raised his voice at me telling me to stop telling other patrons how the racist man felt about people of color. The Caucasian clerk seemed as if he was avoiding any conversation or eye contact with me during this entire encounter. Not once did either intervene when this out of control racist customer shouted racist epithets towards me. Instead they did nothing and proved to me that they represent a company that allows or tolerates this behavior!!! I guarantee if I was shouting racist names they would have told me to leave. I am thankful for that experience I will NEVER spend another dime in that place!!! I will use my time sharing this experience and encourage others never to go there again! Shameful!!!

I would give a zero if I could! The cashier/ trainee (who was left alone) told me to put my 100 dollar bill in the slot machine in order for him to break it. I did so, but he didn't know what to do. So my money was stuck on the machine and he had no clue how I would get it back! Are you serious! He tells me to wait for the graveyard employee to come in or wait until the morning! WHAT!!!???? Totally incompetent!

Went in to get a money order and felt like I was applying for credit on a mortgage. The clerk first off acted like it was an inconvenience to do so and pessimistly mentioned that they only accepted cash, which is what i was paying with, after i paid she asked for an ID, so I provided an federal ID, then that was not what she wanted then asked for a drivers license, so I provided a license, but my license is from Texas so at first she didnt want to accept it because it wasnt a Nevada one, once she got past that, started asking me details of where things were on the license like the DL number and other extremely obvious facts that are the purpose of a license. Very inconvenient and took about 25 minutes to get a simple money order.

Waste of time dont bother trying to get gas here. Pumps are garbage, can't tell you how many times I pulled up to a pump pay and it won't pump. Your better off hitting up the Sinclair down the street.

Went to get my oil changed and they were out of oil
