Grandpa Joe's Candy Shop in the Strip District was an interesting experience. The store has plenty to browse through! The store was extremely busy but very worth navigating the rugged terrain of customers throughout the store. I wouldn't say that the store's employees were necessarily friendly, but they did their job! Prices were reasonable and the selection of products was impressive. You will definitely find items that you haven't seen anywhere else. That is what makes this candy store a gem!

I absolutely adore this store. I recently found my favorite jelly bean brand (Just Born) after searching for 4+ years (buying it online isn't the same). I almost cried at the majesty that was their jelly bean selection.

Grandpa Joe's is everyone's favorite penny candy shop all rolled into one. I've never seen so may specialty sodas and candy. I was in heaven. Well done Granpa Joe... whoever you are.

This Candy, Soda & Ice cream shop is where it's at! They have all the varieties of candy you want and a large variety of soda. The atmosphere and setup is exactly what you'd want.

Fun candy, soda, and ice cream shop in Pittsburgh near the strip district terminal. They have all sorts of candies and a $5 all you can fit box for candy buffet. The sodas were buy 5 get 1 free and most were like $2.29-2.5 each. They carry Hershey’s ice cream and I got the milkshake which was 5 bucks for 3 scoops and 2 toppings.

Did I just time travel? What a fun and exciting store to visit. Not many stores make you feel like a kid again, but gazing at several candies I haven't seen in a few decades definitely took me back. For a moment, I was 7 years old begging my mother for everything I saw. For a more civilized visit, you can also find a vast variety of handmade sweets strategically placed in a glass display that will definitely call your name! This store is located downtown therefore parking can be strenuous but well worth the effort. Prices seem fair and shelves were packed with good deals on bulk items. The $5 box can be a bargain if you select the right items. I highly recommend this store. Have a blast, time travel, and thank GOD for stores like these that can satisfy your sweet tooth while paying homage to your youth.

Our favorite candy shop! They have everything you could think of and more! Love their foreign options and their wall of drinks! Lots of cute gifts too! Can’t go to the Strip without stopping here!

Fantastic candy store with lots of Old Time stuff as well as the newest things. Separated well and easy to find that snack that you've been looking for. Young guy working the front counter is fantastic and makes you feel like you're the most important customer he's had all day. Lots of great stuff to see and hard to find goodies. One of the coolest shops on the strip

Such a fun shop to visit! If you’re in the area, you should seriously consider making a pit stop. Not only is it a candy shop, but it sells board games, a variety of flavorful sodas, mugs, souvenirs, and a bunch of other cute and quirky knick knacks. And the prices are not bad at all.

It was a cool place to walk around in and look at all that they have to offer. The location is also really nice as it introduced us to a strip of stores that we hadn’t visited yet! Glad we popped in, it’s always fun to walk through a store that triggers so much nostalgia and makes you feel like a kid again!

This place is the best!!! They've got all the throw bank candy you can ask for, along with the LARGEST specialty soda collection I've ever seen!!! You can also get all those international snacks you see people trying online......and the socks.

Along with all the novelty gifts you could ever imagine. This place has it all!! If you're passing through like I was, you should definitely put it on your list of things to do!! I'll definitely be back!!

This was by far the best candy store I have ever been in. They have so many different variety of candies and other cool stuff. You can get chocolate, candy, toys, socks and a ton of other things. I do recommend you stop by if you’re in the area.

Grandpa Joes is a must SEE while in the Strip District! 🍬🍭🍫 Super funky (and massive!) old school candy shop for kids & adults a like! You can really spend a long time in here as it’s packed to the ceiling with all things candy! Lots of modern candies but a strong focus on old school candies! Really colorful & fun store to get lost in dreaming of candy.

We had so much fun visiting and shopping at Grandpa Joe’s Candy. There’s a huge selection of candy, soda, toys, games and gifts. We had a great time walking around and seeing everything in the store, from candy we remembered from childhood to puzzles about breakfast cereal to pop culture references on mugs and socks. I was excited to buy several things including candy I haven’t seen since I was a kid! This was a really fun trip down memory lane.

Fun place with hilarious toys for children and adults alike. Good place to get some cheap magnets and wacky souvenirs. Their socks designs were done in a great taste. Some of the stuff can be 18+ so a little word of caution if you are bringing children into the shop. It mostly looks like a place to appeal to hipsters! 😆

Great shop with every kind of candy you could ever imagine. They also had a good selection of root beers, which is great for root beer connoisseurs such as myself.

Candy everywhere! Old brands that has not been seen in stores or some toys/novelties that a certain someone would love. Not as expensive as Dylans but great place to seek out THE GIFT or to remember your childhood...
