Walgreens

I live next to Walgreens at Quincy Ave in Quincy. I go to Walgreens about four times a week, and an employee there by the name of Darlene is just wonderful! She always goes above and beyond. Many times she has helped me with everything I need. One time I was having a really bad day and I needed help trying to find a phone charger for my phone and she was patient and caring she help me find the correct charger. She turned my day around with her help and kindness. I always love to see her there. She's always serves me with a smile. I can go on and on about her. Quincy Avenue Walgreens is very lucky to have an employee like this working for them!!! Thank you, Darlene for everything you do, I appreciate you!

This review is SOLELY for the manager Heather. I had an emergency today where my son was throwing up in the car and being by myself with him before going home I figured I'd go through the drive thru pharmacy and ask for the favor of them picking up a bottle of Pedialyte for me, so that I didn't have to walk in the store with a vomited on 5yr old. The pharmacists that assisted me said " Sorry I can only go around the counter to pick up Tylenol or Motrin but you would have to come get the Pedialyte yourself" I looked at her in awe and said but the Pedialyte is right next to the childrens tylenol, I understand it's a random act to do that for me but i'd truly appreciate it if you did. And she said "Sorry I can't". So I left and called the store to speak to a manager and the minute I told her my situation (as my son's puking in the background) she immediately said I am coming to drop it off at your house. She was here within minutes, I tried to pay her she refused... SHE IS SO KIND and my gratitude goes to her!! I hope corporate sees what an amazing employee they have - HEATHER THANK YOU FOR SAVING ME TODAY! GOD BLESS YOU!

I've never had any issues with this Walgreens in the last ten months of living around here... I have always gotten polite people over the phone even though I never know my prescription numbers, it never even seems to bother or annoy them!

The pharmacy department is great! They honestly don’t get the credit that they deserve. Even when it is busy they do their best to get everything done in a timely manner

The pharmacy staff is so welcoming and I never have any problems. Thank you for all the work that you do!

Excellent service but don’t always have shelves stocked ahead for holidays.

This has to be the Worst pharmacy In the city of Quincy, MA. I have been quoted for one particular prescription a copay of $125.00 when in fact, according to my insurance was to be be less than $7.00. This and many other mistakes has caused me much duress and frustratration. Also, every time I visit this pharmacy, I have noticed many different faces which tells me of the high turn over rate of workers. One more indication of the failure of not hiring competent personnel. Sorry, but it is true. My neighbors concur with my feelings. I truly hope you can remedy this situation. Sooner than later.

Clean store. Usually have everything advertised. Workers are polite. Aside from the pharmacy that is. They've called me a liar then had to apologize when they realized I wasn't lying. Don't ever leave without checking scripts. Gave me a half script and didn't record it or tell me. I realized 7 days later 2ent in and they had no record of it. Once they counted their stock they realized I was right.

Just a convient thought because your store is a convenience store and a pharmacy if the hours are different from the store then the WEBSITE SHOULD REFLECT THE HOURS FOR BOTH just an observation thanks for reading my Rant oh yeah One more thing please hire some help in the pharmacy scripts always take 1-2 hrs but Rite Aid always can fill my script in 20-30 minutes tops all your employees are great it's your fault"""Walgreen's""" help them

Pharmacy staff is good at being late and then offers lame excuses for being late and are not very friendly...Masks are not required unless you question a certain manager about this who then responds with>>>"since I have to wear a mask then you have to wear a mask."<<

Don't even try calling the pharmacy. They will answers a few times asking you to hold repeatedly. My experience for about a year now. I go there often for my 93 yr old father.
