I have always liked this location along with the store in Bellevue. The parking lot is still terrible. The employees here are not rude like some reviewers have mentioned but I would argue that a lot of the people who shop here are. I have had people carelessly hit me with their carts and nobody seems to know how to say "excuse me," so expect to have to deal with some people who lack manners. Always good finds here though!

Love love love this store!!!! I don't think that driving 2 hours for a thrift shop adventure is ever out of the question when it comes to the Red White and Blue, even if ur home town has 15 second hand stores none can compare. It's a must visit on ur road trips.

so amazing helpful employees, and lots of great stuff, prices are very good and there are always markdowns on certain color tags be aware that there are no fitting rooms so be prepared to try on things over your clothes.

Best selection, intuitive organization, new and gently used items that will fit into any budget. Great for teens, and mothers. Parking overflows next door due to obvious demand.

They have sooooo much, from clothes to hats to decor to underwear and socks! Huge pictures, clocks, storage items, books, dvds.. well you get the picture! Only downfall is the clothes go buy color and not size, and the only reason anyone would make a store like that is there too lazy to look at the tag and instead, if it’s out of place, it’s easily known by the color. Besides that this is a must stop and shop if you’re in Pittsburgh!

This place has a TON of stuff! And it seems like it is ALWAYS packed with customers.
But it usually has what I'm looking for at a good price.
And I really like the employees. They are all very nice & friendly, which I sure can be difficult due to the fact that they deal with so many people, some of who often can be a little grumpy for whatever reason. They seem to handle those situations well & have always been extremely kind, patient & polite to me. They deserve their own 5 Stars!

This is an excellent resale store, with amazing items at reasonable prices. But I'm confused why people would donate items here. Many people seem to think this is a charity or a non profit. It is not, it is a for profit company, Red White & Blue states this themselves. The reason their items are so good is because they buy them from what is donated to the vets charity, so I suppose it does indirectly benefits The Vets charity, but they're selecting and purchasing the best items, then reselling them here for a profit. Please do your research everyone, and do not donate here, unless of course you would donate to any other for profit consignment shop or store.

Keisha and Brittney were SO nice and helpful! I always love coming to this thrift store because they have a wide variety of selections. They let me test out a game console to make sure it worked before I purchased it, thanks to the no return policy, and it was really sweet of them to go the extra mile. This store is the best- from staff to stock, 10/10 would recommend! :)

This thrift store is the best in Pittsburgh. I found tons of clothes from Justice for my daughter that were only 3-5 dollars per piece, whereas at the mall or Justice retail it would be 25-35 per piece. I also found TONS of high quality toys. My toddler found a huge paw patrol slide that was only 10 dollars and at walmart its retailing for 99 dollars. we also found tons of toy cars, barbies, Frozen, Hello Kitty etc. I was shocked at how current the kids clothes and kids toys were because there are so many thrift stores in the city that have very outdated clothes and very outdated toys. I will definitely be a regular customer here from now on and start donating my kids things here as well!

Pretty good thrift store. Don't expect any crazy deals or unfound Picasso's, this place is very up on things, but it's got some great stuff inexpensively.

I have been shopping at this store since 1983! It is my absolute favorite thrift store, and as thrift shopping is basically my hobby, I am familiar with many around the area.
Things people complain about: You *will* spend a long time looking, because clothes are not sorted by size, and the store has no dressing rooms. I learned when I was in high school, though, to wear a skirt, a camisole, and/or a bathing suit, and to just go ahead and try stuff on in the open. Go ahead, this is far from etiquette central; nobody is judging you while they're also sorting through used stuff.

Frequently you will spend a *really* long time waiting in line. It's a function of the place being so awesome that it's always crowded. Plan ahead and don't whine about it. They sell books and magazines. Get one, or play on your phone, or just do your trying on while you're in line. You're about to save a big pile of money in an entertaining way; half an hour of your life for this privilege is a feature, not a flaw.

This store is best for clothes and shoes; other stores have dramatically fewer things and frequently higher prices. Other thrift stores tend to have lower prices on housewares and books. The HUGE inventory makes it worth looking here first, anyway, though; you may pay $5 for something another store would price at $2, but the other stores are much less likely to have it in the first place. With the half price sale every Saturday, and the various discount days throughout the week, paying a little more for the occasional item is washed out by all the things you're getting a fantastic deal on.

Parking is better than it used to be, since they finally bought the big empty lot next door. No it isn't a great lot (very potholed, and puddly when it rains) but I *always* find a spot. The very farthest spots are not as far away as the farthest spots in your average Giant Eagle or Target lot.

The staff isn't tremendously friendly or helpful. That's because this is a high volume thrift store so they're really busy all the time and they don't work for a huge chain and probably aren't union so they don't make a ton of money or have great benefits or get fun breakroom perks. All of this is a function of the fact that it's AMAZINGLY CHEAP to shop there, so again: it's a feature, not a flaw. Be nice to them and they'll be nice to you. Or anyway they'll be polite. Just buy your stuff and don't expect to be entertained as well; if you were a special princess you wouldn't be shopping here anyway.

The quality of items are good. It's not junkie stuff. They have a great selection of clothes, housewares, bedding and everything in between. Reasonable prices and friendly staff.

Heard the location is a real dumpster fire. But there’s some cool stuff in there and bargains to be had plus some very helpful people!

It is a huge thrift store, so be prepared to stay here for a while to go through everything. If you take time, you will find a great deal. They seem to offer 50% off deal daily for selected items. I was able to buy a brand name sweater for $2!

The prices have gone up at the red white and blue, but they have everywhere else too. I was surprised to see so many neat things there. As soon as I walked in on the top header there were some arts and crafts things that I thought were really nice. so I grabbed up some of those things to make picture books and scrapbooking crafts. There's always a lot of clothes especially for kids. They have Plus Sizes extra large men's Electronics whatever they call miscellaneous can be a multitude of things housewares you name it. I enjoy red white and blue as well as a Salvation Army. Goodwill is not so great out of my way but I heard it's really good down in Southside. I hope that helps!

I've been bringing my daughters here for years to find beautiful fashions at a price that a single-Mom can afford... Given the choice, my girls choose to come here to get WAY more bang for their buck.
I just scored >$250 worth of summer clothes for $40, so I'm ready to party.

Definitely a busy store but lots of items to always choose from. Prices were good. Some items were kinda high for a thrift store. But employees were nice and helpful and overall a great experience!
