I absolutely LOVED this bookstore! I’ve lived 10 min away from here my whole life and I found it from a MI bookbabes fb page. This is a gift, from the gods. Sooo many books at such a great price if you have 5 minutes or 5 hours you’ll definitely fine a few or 50 to purchase

Stopped here to pick up a book with a friend they'd been searching for and they had it!!! Walking in...wow, totally amazing overwhelming wow!!! Floor to ceiling, row after row of books! The smell was intoxicating...you know that smell! We had only a few minutes to browse but will be back. John was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The book was a surprise gift for me! I am so excited to to read this one and all the others I know I'll find here. A breath of magickal book air.

A trove of treasures new and old. Truly the best part of visiting the area. Reasonably priced, too!

This is such a cool place. I could spend hours looking around. We happened on it by accident but as soon as I walked in, I loved it. The owner was extremely nice. My advice, know what you’re looking for otherwise you’ll be there for hours because it’s so cool and there are so many books. Plus prices are great!!

Absolutely love this little book nook! One of my best friends show my wife and i this place! It’s awesome and literally has just about any book you can think of from old to new!

John and Alex the owners are truly the most transcendent people of kindness and intelligence I have met in my life. Their appreciation of their book business reflects this. If what you are looking for is in the vast inventory, unbelievable they know where it rests waiting; and a couple others to support your interests. The hype is grounded in truth. Over 20 years of greatful customer service.

This place is definitely a hidden treasure. I absolutely love the floor to ceiling book cases. Every twist and turn has books! Books are stacked somewhat unordely and there are tons! I personally think this is the best part! The owner is very helpful and kind. From the time I was there I could tell he is passionate about what he does and knows his stock! Will absolutely be returning. Likely next weekend 🙂

I had been told about this bookstore for years, and it has been on my bucket list. The outside hides the true size and depth of their inventory. And the owner is a true bibliophile. I spent a couple of hours and amassed a pile of amazing books. Some highlights of their collection include the best selection of Russell Kirk books I've ever seen as well as a great collection of literature. Highly recommend this store!!!

This is the best damn bookstore in Michigan.

Nowhere does it better, not even John K. King. You go to King, it's so busy and picked through you can almost never find what you want, then you settle for something else.

Here, you can usually find whatever it is you came in for, and then something you didn't even know you wanted because The Wizard at the counter is such a good curator. Everything, even the rare books, is extremely reasonably priced, too. If you've never been here, you owe it to yourself.

I grew up in the area and every time I come home to see family I check to see if this bookstore is open. It is by far the coolest and most authentic book shop I've been to, and I've been to many. It has no need to show off with decoration because it is literally floor to ceiling and spilling over with books. The tight shelf space speaks for itself, and makes you feel like a child in the Pagemaster, just maybe not so scary. I'm pretty sure there is even a wizard too ;)

I love going to this place. I was looking for a book series and the owner easily found them for me. Always new books coming in and a great selection.

The atmosphere is almost magical with the stacks upon stacks of books. So much is cramped into this little building that the aisles are rather narrow and even the bathroom is home to a section of books.

Do call ahead to make sure they will be open! Currently they take cash or card.

Absolutely love this book store! So many books and the atmosphere of an old book store is wonderful. I'm so happy I went here and I will definitely be going back. Not many book stores are in business anymore so I'm very happy to have found this one.

By far the most wonderful bookshop I've been to:) Thousands of books, very reasonably priced; a personal, comfortably oldish feel, and knowledgeable, yet down to earth sellers. Few open hours, so make sure you check up on that before planning a visit. You could spend hours there too, so leave yourself time.

The most Amazing little Book shop I've ever seen. Its magical in that little store. Floor to ceiling packed wall to wall with Books. Rows and Rows, Stacks and Stacks of Books. Sorted by Genre, Multiple rooms. Even the checkout counter is a cubicle of books. You could spend a whole day in this store and not see half the books in this place. You feel like you entered a different world when you walk thru the doors. If your in the Central Michigan area this is a must stop! 📑

This place is a book lovers dream. I swear it's amazing. Floor to ceiling books, books everywhere! The owner isn't just paying them along either, he fully knows what he has, what he doesn't have (but can find, and will) and you can see that he is passionate about his job. I could live in this store lol

Great place with a ton of books and low prices. The owner was very helpful and knew where to go for specific books. I have been to several used book stores, but none of them were as good as this one.

Best bookstore I've ever been to! Always has books in the topic I'm looking for. Great customer service and friendly atmosphere. It's the best kept secret that I want people to know about.

This is the quintesaential classic old bookstore. The shelves are crammed with wonderful finds and the owner is a patient, knowledgable bibliophile... a sage of the stacks. It is well worth a a visit.
