Every time I order something over the phone and ask for it to be made a specific way, it is made wrong. Today I ordered scrambled egg and bacon on a roll with only salt and pepper. I was very specific and they still put ketchup on it anyway. This is not the first time either. Every since their has been new faces at the counter the service is horrible

Fast and Friendly service.
This place is always pack but it’s worth the wait. Their food is fresh and delicious.
They carry a variety of products including CBD infused drinks, even Hershey has its own freezer ❤
Love to stop here after MT Beacon, Breakneck or Hudson Highlands hikes😉

An exceptionally convenient location to grab some sandwiches, snacks, and drinks before hiking up Mount Beacon. I've been coming here for over 40 years. I love the sandwiches. The service is great.

The staff and owners are great! I stop here before hitting the trails in Beacon and again when I come back off the mountain.

Walking through the front door is like stepping back in time. This place definitely has an old world charm to it.

What we really need to talk about though are the breakfast sandwiches. The bread is so light, soft, absolutely fresh, and delicious. Eggs have just the right amount of salt and pepper to give them flavor without being overwhelming. The sausage is tasty as well.

All in all, this is the perfect place to stop for a quick breakfast sandwich. Bonus if you have a few minutes, there are some park benches just across the street where you can sit and enjoy that sandwich and an amazing view of Mt. Beacon.

Kewl Place Perfectly Situated Right Next To Mt. Beacon Incline Railway. After you hike the mountain, walk there for a bite to eat and something cold to wash it all down.

Bob's is a beacon icon. Great food great service open till 8pm kitchen closes at 5ish. Wish it was open till 6:30-7:00. It's a little old store. It's not dirty it's just old. prices are average a little high.But the quality of food is good. Try their mountain burger. Best potato salad I've ever had.

Food Was Really good along with the service 3ut the atmosphere Was Kinda sketchy😳😳😳 I didn't Feel like I Was WeLCome there. I Wonder how many people of color ( black ) go in there 🤔🤔🤔 the energy was Wierd...

I love Bob's. Every single human who works there is kind, helpful and generous. Plus, the sandwiches are over the top yummy! So happy to have them at the base of our beautiful mountain!

Local favorite. Fresh ingredients, friendly service. Call ahead during busy times (breakfast and lunch) to shorten your wait or plan to have 15 minutes to enjoy hanging out with locals and visiting hikers. Ideal location right next to Mount Beacon trail head

Best bagel sandwich ever! I ordered the bacon tomato and cream cheese on a toasted everything. Such a great combo that you don't see often. It was perfect. The staff is super nice too.

Not sure what the complaints are about. You cannot beat the food, especially for the convenience and the price point. Mountain Egg and Trail Wrap always hit the spot, and it’s located right at the Mt Beacon trailhead.

Awesome Place I believe this is also the place where The Blues Brothers Played back in the Early 80's. They sang "Rawhide" and "Stand by Your Man". At The time it was known as "Bob's Country Bunker".

This is a great deli. I recommend calling ahead to order your morning commute egg sandwiches as they get busy. The potato salad will get you raves no matter what picnic or potluck you bring it to. Also, one of the guys is an LFC fan so hey, it must be good!

In my opinion, this is the best deli in Beacon. I've been coming here my whole life, always great food.

This place makes great food in general. From breakfast to lunch you can't go wrong. I haven't been there in 3 years but I started going again because I work close by again and the food is still as great as it was from when I used to stop by.
