I have had zero issues with the wolfeboro Walgreens and have been a long time customer even when it used to be rite-aid. The only problem from my outside observance is that this is a small town pharmacy serving a town of 4000 for most of the year, then having to serve 35,000 in the summer when every rude entitled rich Masshole and pushy New Yorker finds themselves in our beautiful town. I have two solutions for this problem, build a wall at NH’s southern boarder and make Mass pay for it, or build a bigger pharmacy. People coming up here and Massing things up needs to stop, it’s getting to the point that their money isn’t worth the stress.

In the time of frustration with many unsuccessful attempts on the NH site and continually being on hold with 211 trying to schedule an appointment for a covid vaccine for my mother, I finally schedule an appt in the Laconia store. Calling them they informed me the site was wrong and they had no vaccine I then scheduled an appointment at Wolfeboro and called to confirm they had vaccine. Glen, the store manager was wonderful. He spent the time patiently explaining the website was overbooking the stores but his store did have vaccine. He recommended a day that would be less busy for my elderly mother. Thank you Glen.

My phone was roaming while in town and I came in to see about getting a temporary phone with service. A young man helped me look at phones and made suggestions based on service in the area and price. The phone ended up being a dudd (could not activate) and when i returned i forgot the receipt. They accepted the return and i exchanged for a different phone. This one required i had another phone to call to activate (if i had that i wouldn't need a phone). I ended up taking that one back as well. Ultimately I did not get a phone here but I wanted to give 5 stars for how helpful the staff were in selecting and returning the phones. Even if I wasn't able to get what I was looking for the staff did their best to help me along the way.

The staff at the Walgreens in Wolfeboro is great - knowledgeable, helpful, and extremely pleasant. Being a retail clerk in today's economy is an extremely diffucult job and all the staff at our Walgreens do a great job.

I haven't ever had an issue with this location in the last 8 years. I shopped here weekly before moving away for 13 months but we are back and will resume to shopping here. The manager is a great guy whom is always there if anything is ever needed.

Hours listed are unreliable. Even though it says the business confirmed the hours 6 days ago, they weren’t open when I went. This has happened multiple times. Frustrating!

Absolutely horrible service.
After sitting on hold with the pharmacy for about a half an hour, I took my cell phone to the store, and asked the pharmacy cashier if they were answering their phones today?.
She said "yes we are". I showed her my phone with a now 58 minute hold time , which was still playing their canned recording and told her I've been on hold for almost an hour.
Her response was to ask if I followed the prompts, which I did , hence the canned recording.
Abruptly she ignored the problem and went into the standard questions of my date of birth etc.
I was just trying to get a bottle of prescription eye drops, which she told me would take four hours to fill.
I asked why four hours? It's a bottle on the shelf.
She argued that it wasn't just a bottle on the shelf (which it is), there is no mixing involved, and that there were only two of them working in the pharmacy.
I told her I'd be back later, which romped the sarcastic last word ( have a nice day) from her.
I'm so glad Walgreens bought out the other pharmacy in town and can now offer horrible service because the next closet pharmacy is 20 minutes away.

The pharmacist answering the phones could be a little more personable and polite. I called to check the date of a prescription pickup.

Let me be clear, I live in Rochester and the only reason I'm going to this Walgreens is because of a national shortage/back order of my prescription. I didn't know if I was suppose to pick up the script today or tomorrow. I found out it was the latter of the two

For context it's a Friday morning. And we have a huge storm coming with about 8-14 inches of snow getting dropped on us from tonight through Saturday evening. I'm trying to see if I could pick it up early to avoid driving during the storm. My car goes into the body shop Sunday for a week so anyway to avoid hazardous conditions would be a win.

I kindly ask if she had any inclination of when the storm was suppose to end. And all I got from her (assuming this was a woman. Can't just assume nowadays) was "I'm not sure, try googling it, bye!" Then she hung up.

Obviously I can Google it, but I was on the phone having a conversation with you and was casually asking a general question to plan my day ahead.

I clearly remember why I left this town. People have no personality here....

Just moved all my scripts to CVS in Rochester as will drive instead of 3 months not filling meds right, and rude to person in front of me then rude and unwilling to look anything up to correct their mistake. I cant trust any Walgreens/RiteAid after how bad this Wolfeboro one is. They get by as only one in town. A drive may delay until next day, but them not filling, not fixing, then putting away and refusing to reorder as they wouldnt look at system and their email didnt mention name, said would have to click on link from their text and see...instead of the 5 seconds it took while walking away they said go home and call when you have your act together. I simply said just recieved text from Walgreens for meds with no name.

Rude, indifferent pharmacist and staff. Don’t care at all about getting you your prescriptions. Are they out of stock? They won’t tell you until 5 hours later. Have simple questions? Be ready to catch attitude. Call your prescriptions into Huggins, trust me.

Got a call from Walgreens Wolfeboro today. They couldn't tell me what it concerned, they needed to talk to my wife. I told them I take care of all the medications for both of us. They said I would need power of Attorney to discuss her meds. on the phone. When I said that was crazy I wasn't going to spend hundreds of dollars to discuss meds. on the phone, she laughed at me. Had my wife pick up the other phone and told her I would listen in to make sure she wasn't dispensing a medication we didn't want(again) she said the medication would be ready in the morning and hung up on me !!!! I was trying to find out what it was to either pick it up or cancel it. I regularly go into the store and pick up both our meds by giving them our address, some times they ask date of birth sometimes they don't. Why can't they do that over the PHONE ??????

Walgreens does not care about their pharmacy customers. Especially the regional manager when you call to ask for them you're told you can't talk to them. I wish Walgreens would stop being a pharmacy because honestly they don't care about the customers.
Pharmacy at this store has been closed for 3 days now. Why did you even take my prescription from the doctor if you knew you're not going to be open?
I'm sorry The pharmacy makes more than enough money to pay people, but they're more interested making a bigger profit.
To reiterate what I said, the more interested in their bottom line then they are about customers. Please stop pretending you care about the public.

A few days later I did get my one script. Despite me, they sent my other script to another store. When I asked if I could get it there, they said I would have to wait 20 minutes.
With all the problems I had I would feel they could fill my prescription. Nothing but attitude from the pharmacist there. The sad part is I'll never hear from them on my complaint. As I said, Walgreens does not care about their customers whatsoever.

Store closed with no reason and no information on when will reopen. Absolutely no concern about customers. The only pharmacy in wolfboro and Walgreens can't keep it open. Forced other pharmacies out of business and now this. Even though inconvenient I will choose another pharmacy even if and when the store reopens.
