Estimate was triple of what we paid with a different company. We would have also had to buy our own vanity, toilet, exhaust fans, lights and mirror. I was also told I could get $3000.00 off if I signed before the estimator left our house. No thank you.

when you go through Home Depot for a bathroom remodel, they send bath planet/ your home improvement for a free estimate. Well, I had called a couple years ago because I wanted my tub replaced, the guy gave me the price of the tub plus replacing a row of tile I already had, and so I saved up for it. It was $3500 and he said it was discounted if I bought today, I wasn’t able to, so I said I would call back. I called them about a year later and this time they pulled out all the stops. So now the person was telling me I can’t just have the tub replaced that they will only redo the entire area and at minimum $15000. Then I said there’s no way I can swing that, so they proceeded to dive into a 2 hour long high pressure sales pitch. Asking what kind of payment I needed to get the bathroom, when I’ve already said the range I’ve saved up for, and this wasn’t it. Even got the manager on the phone after a couple of hours to tell me it wasn’t bath planet that came out previously, and that I was wrong, and I shouldn’t trust who said that (it was them, I found the actual quote). I just wanted them to leave, the prices started ranging from $15000-$11000 and there was no transparency in costs. I said multiple times no, and they would not leave. I was cornered in my own home. The manager on the speaker phone saying I would have to pay more if I called back to make up for their lost time having to come back. Just sketchy all around. Plus they only do acrylic surrounds, they will say they can do tile but won’t even discuss it. It was such an uncomfortable and off putting experience.

We had them come out to estimate the cost of a walk-in shower for my 84 year-old mother. Ryan Pietron was the salesman who showed up to do the estimate, and he didn’t have the experience or knowledge necessary to give a proper estimate …. and was VERY HIGH PRESSURE!! The follow up appointment, with the installer a couple days later, led to finding out that we would have needed to move electrical lines and panel heating lines etc which was way more than the original cost. We had given a down payment and now we are trying to get our money back. No one will return calls or answer phone calls from us. Very unprofessional practices! Steer clear of this company!!!!!

They also go by the name “Your Home Improvement Co.” be very cautious of this business they are shady, and they lied many times. They guarantee that the shower will be remodeled in one day, it was not. 3 weeks after they originally ripped our shower out they finally completed the project. CJ from their office sent us an email prior to the start of the project detailing that the installer AND plumber would be on site at our home at 8am and he (Derek the installer) didn’t arrive until 9:45-10:30am. And the plumber who did not work for bath planet showed up an hour or 2 after Derek. Grady was our salesman and he was the one that told us the shower will be done in a day or it’s free. Michael the project manager agreed with him and said “that’s only if we don’t run into issues during the install” there were no issues other than the fact that the plumber walked off the job and shortly after Derek the actual installer did as well. Michael, Grady, and whoever else is in charge refused to work with us they gave us less than 1% of what we paid back in the form of a gift card. They are HIGHLY unprofessional, rude, and dishonest. You’d honestly have better luck going to Mad City or a different remodeling company this company is terrible.

Terribly expensive, poor work quality, they only did the minimum, so unhappy with finished work. And because I see it everyday, it is a constant reminder that I was ripped off.

Very disappointed bad customer service. Horrible experience!!!
