Friendly staff, good selection, isles were not cluttered, great prices. Will definitely come back.

Just left the DG market in Mendota. The signs hanging up to do not reflect the price of items at all. The clearance items did not ring up an additional 50% off as advertised by the pink sign in the clearance aisle. False advertising. When asked about the signs I received major attitude from the Store Manager. I tried to buy a small bunch of bananas at self checkout to which the manager took major attitude again and said “Obviously you didn’t read the sign! The bananas are 40 cents each banana not 40 cents a pound!” Then aggressively yelled at his cashier to come check me out at another register. There was no reason for that as I was using the self checkout. Store manager is terrible, cocky, and rude. I was tempted to leave my cart at just walk out with nothing. I told the cashier that I do not envy him having to work with that manager at all. The cashier said the store manager was just tired and cranky. Being tired is one thing, but do not be rude and snotty to the customers who are their to support your establishment. Will not go back. Hope the manager gets replaced soon.
