What a most WONDERFUL yarn store. Just had a delightful, long-awaited visit to one of my favorites, The Yarn Patch in Crossville, TN. Great selection of all kinds of yarns, roving materials, tools, etc and a lovely staff who are sweet and helpful.

Stopped here on my way home. Beautiful hand dyed yarns! Beautiful shop. Made a great place to stop to buy my yarn loving friend a souvenir from my trip.

What a wonderful place to get yarn and unique supplies! There's an amazing variety of yarn in this vintage store front. On the brick walls are samples that make you wish you could crochet/knit faster to get more done with locally dyed yarn. And if that's not cool enough, the owner herself dyes spectular colors of yarn, too!

The yarn patch is an amazing place! I am a crocheter, and when I walked in, I was immediately greeted warmly, and shown how to find whatever I need. I highly recommend visiting the Yarn Patch for crocheters and knitters alike!

The people here are wonderful and will help you figure out your next project, inspire you to try new things, or just chat about life. Try taking a class or doing a yarn tasting and ask about what events they have coming up. You won't regret it.

Okay, so we came to Fairfield glade and felt so fortunate to come to the town of Crossville. Then we found this FABULOUS knitting shop that would get kudos and acclaim in NYC! They have it all, knitting, spinning, crocheting, embroidery, and weaving. The staff s super helpful and kind. I bought lovely knitting needles, a crochet project and super yarn and a pattern for my car knitting project to go home. I received helpful advice re replacement bobbins for my spinning wheel... I don't know what else to say. It was fabulous AND they told me to go to the library which was also wonderful. Love Crossville (not so sure about Fairfield glade 🤣)

I have been to multiple yarn shops and have to say this is one of the nicest I have seen. A real joy to visit and when I go home I can shop online

A nice selection of local dyed, cotton yarns and kits. I bought 2 merino cottons for a small project. Bring money.

Visited about a year ago and loved their offerings! Was able to get some fiber for spinning here, and now I will be popping in more often since I am now moving much closer!

Heather and the rest of the staff at The Yarn Patch are super sweet and helpful. They have a wide selection of various weights of yarns, along with plenty of cotton and synthetic options for babies or people who can't tolerate wool.

I highly suggest taking advantage of her winding service when you purchase your yarn there if you don't have a ball winder & swift at home.

I stopped in on my way from Virginia to Arizona. I'm extremely glad I did. This is one of the best yarn shops I've been to in many a year. Excellent selection, knowledgeable staff, and they even had choices in hard to find notions!

Hands down one of the best yarn stores I’ve visited! The owner, Heather, greeted me at the door. Since I was a first time shopper, she gave me a general overview of where things were located. The store is beautifully arranged, quality materials abound, and the staff is lovely.

My daughter and I were given space to explore the shop and when we needed assistance the staff was incredibly helpful. I will make the detour off the interstate to visit again!

Ok I need to stay out of here! Lol! Way too much gorgeous yarn for me to fall in love with and buy. 🤣 The staff actually KNOWS about yarns without consulting the internet,a book, etc. Impressive.

Very cute store. Quite a wide selection for a smaller store. They have everything you’d need to get started in knitting or crocheting. An awesome hometown store. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful!

So much beautiful yarn! I had the chance to run into this store recently, and I left with some beautiful Christmas colored yarn for gifts in 2023. The store is arranged wonderfully, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Plus, if you don't have a yarn swift at home, they will turn your skein into a ball for you. I can't wait to go back and browse again! Keep an eye out for locally dyed yarns when you're in the store. Parking tip: If you are uncomfortable parallel parking like myself, you can park around the courthouse square on East 4th Street.

Wonderful little yarn shop with a truly beautiful selection of quality yarns including a selection of locally made and dyed yarn. They have a creative corner where you can chill and create. The staff is friendly and achieve the perfect balance of engagement, allowing you to browse at your own pace while being instantly available to answer questions and assist in any other way they can. Definitely worth the stop.
