For all the people crying about prices, it’s still way cheaper than anywhere else and it’s called inflation ..c’mom man! …and the people rating 1 star due to “change of owners” are very simple

i know this place has been around… had never been until this morning. great prices, great food and great atmosphere. sausage egg and cheese was 10/10

I’m not from Frederick but I was in the area taking care of business today. I was in the mood for a steak and cheese and didn’t want a restaurant style steak and cheese. I wanted one of those mom and pop shops and I found it. As soon as I drove past BROWN’s and the sign said Deli. I said ohhhhhh yeah just what I’m looking for a place that ppl won’t think to stop at. May I say they did not disappoint. Their steak and cheese was torch (sooooooo good) 10/10. The potatoes wedges could’ve been fried a lil longer so I would give those a 7/10. I will be returning one day. Thank you fellas.

Been around forever. A local gem for quick meals, best sweet tea.

Try the breakfast sub. I got the sausage and added cheese and hot pepper relish. Best $6 breakfast ever.

My favorite place to get breakfast in Frederick. I recommend the cream chipped beef over toast or the sausage gravy over biscuit. For a quick lunch you can't go wrong with the potato soup or the broccoli cheddar soup, with a cold cut sub.

So glad someone took over instead of Brown's just flat out closing its store. They have been there since I was a kid and this is still a favorite spot for a lot of ppl. I also love their new improved check cashing part....once u are in their system ur fingerprint is all u basically need....VERY SMART N EFFICIENT!!

The deli is amazing! All of the breakfast sandwiches and subs are delicious. Also everyone that works there is very courteous and has a real sense of hospitality. One of my local favorites for sure 👍

Amazing crew, family owned, everyone is informative, the food is GOOD! I sampled many sandwiches and the steak and cheese is AMAZING n I'm not even a s&c fan! They have cold cut sandwiches in the cooler they make fresh daily, those are sooooo good...the sub roll is so perfect its soft but has a good bite the deli meat is on point n its just the right juiciness that u don't need to add ANYTHING cuz they made it wit LuV 🥰

So worried that it's going to change under new management. Rumor has it they want to boost the booze sales and make it less the breakfast and lunch mecca it has been for workers around Frederick for decades. Take care of what they need during the day and they'll come back for what they want for after work.

Hot or cold sandwiches and subs made to order! Homemade sloppy joe!!! The sloppy Joe dogs are great! The sweet iced tea is delicious. Hot soups, freshly made pizzas, lottery, snacks, drinks as well as beer and liquor. Need a check cashed? They have that service too! (By a sweet beautiful lady named Darlene.) The friendly staff makes everyone feel like a VIP. Prices are very reasonable and the whole experience is worth any amount of drive time!

Liquor store, with Home made sandwiches made in the back 🥪 get that feel good vibe feeling when you eat it. Its not the only thing they have. Have a look for yourself. Not bad on the price either.

Brown's has an amazing Deli counter, offering soups, sandwiches, subs (hot & cold) pizza and desserts. They have a great selection of liquor, wine and beer all for very reasonable prices. You will often find local law enforcement hanging out there. Not because its a dangerous area, more so because Brown's is very involved with the community! The staff are all VERY nice and helpful. They also offer a check cashing, bill payment and cell phone renewal.

The wonderful lady who cashes checks on Fridays did a great job again .(5/31/19) I was with my daughter and we were 11th in line . It took under 10 mins . Browns is the best ,great food,service and check cashing among other things

Old school liquor and convenience store has the best fresh brewed ice tea around. The chip beef is a definite breakfast go too. Lots of other quick bite options. Expect a heavy crowd early morning and at lunch.

Old school establishment. I love this place. It's like a blue collar breakfast and lunch spot. Like the good ole days. And as a bonus: cold beers

Greatest little carry-out in town. They have good pricing on all of the essentials I'd come for. Tasty food at reasonable prices and friendly staff can be found here. A Frederick institution!
