Deals N' Steals Bin Store of Douglas

Updated: Deals N Steals is back open as of Feb 2, 2024 in Douglas. They have changed up things again with Friday now being $15, Saturday $12.50, Sunday $10, Monday $7.50, Tuesday $5, Wednesday $2.50, and Thursday $1. This week it looks like mostly Amazon product and then they have some new furniture they have in the half of retail section. Glad they are back open.
Review on January 29th, 2024: This location is temporarily closed according to the signage on the door. It has been closed almost a month now and hopefully they will be back soon, because this place was different and gave you the treasure hunt feel because you never knew what kind of a deal you would find. After dozens and dozens of trips over the past year or so I found several things well Below Retail on perfectly good items. The main thing you have to have when shopping here is patience and time.
Original review: You never know what deal you're going to find here. They're scheduled varies some, but their main schedule is Friday is $10 day, Saturday is $8 day, Sunday is $4 day, Monday is $2 day, and Tuesday is $1 day. Again, this can change and the best way to know is to follow them on Facebook where they will update what days they are open and if they are running any specials like they did this past weekend where $4 day was actually $3 and they did not have a $2 or $1 day due to one of their trucks not showing up on time. They are not open Wednesdays or Thursdays to prep the store for the next week of deals. Also, they strongly emphasize to not open boxes at the bins because they don't want stuff falling out of the boxes and parts being lost. You can inspect the box at the inspection table where one of their employees will open it and gladly show you what is inside. It is also first come first serve. If your hands are on it it's yours, but if you don't get what you want when the doors open then someone else can get it before you. It's sort of like Black Friday every Friday at this place. They do not allow you to bring in any kind of bags and you will have to purchase one there unless you already have red Target or blue Ikea bag on hand. They sell them for about three or four dollars. Great deals, I went on $4 day, and I tell you it was like Christmas as a kid when I got home. Fun and inexpensive.

Plenty of stuff

Well today was ok not a whole lot left on$1 day but I always manage to find something I need . The girls that work there are friendly and helpful .

The pickings are getting slim. All the good stuff is being sold at like half retail price. Not like when they first opened. Still like them but need to get better stuff in the bins.

UPDATE: As of 02/02/24, our store is under new management. It has been renamed, 'Johnson's Liquidators.' I hope the new management's staff has improved its business model. I awarded three stars since my opinion is neutral at this time; however, today's buying experience was pleasant.
