Fill Happy

Met the owner a few years ago at 2nd Sundays or a Farmers Market and loved her concept then—was delighted to see that she has a storefront now!!

Refilled bottles of shampoo and conditioner (I chose the cedar + sage), selected a natural deodorant, and picked 3 different flavors of toothpaste pellets to try (what a fun concept!)

I tried the shampoo and conditioner this week and loved them. The scent is wonderful, and my hair and scalp were happy afterward.

Looking forward to using the composting service as well, in the future. (You pay a fee, and they come to your house once a week for pickup. They deliver high quality soil back to you a few times a year.)

I am so excited that Fill Happy is in Williamsburg! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

My husband and I went in for the first time today hoping to find some safe refillable cleaning products since we just had a baby.

We were totally blown away by the huge variety of products from cleaners to beauty and body supplies, to home goods- to a composting service! We ended up with quite a haul 😆.

The owner, Jana, was so kind and knowledgeable about all of the products and gave very helpful recommendations.

This is a great place to find things for your home and gifts for others. You can also feel good about your purchases- they’re ethically sourced and planet friendly.

I can’t wait to try my products, especially the eucalyptus mint shower steamers!

Great store with a vast collection of cleaning, hygiene, and other reusable items from dishcloths to water balloons. For the bulk products you can either bring your own container, buy one there or take from the reused container bin with a selection of glass jars bottles and other similar vessels which have been cleaned. The customer service is also fantastic and it is a thoroughly enjoyable experience

I have loved Fill Happy since the day I came across their stand at Williamsburg’s Second Sundays market a few years ago! Jana and her family are the most kind, most driven, and most accommodating small business owners I’ve ever met. As the only refill/zero waste shop in the area, Fill Happy helped me achieve all of my sustainability dreams (and are helping me discover new ones with a growing product line and suite of alternatives!). I never thought reducing waste in my home, and composting, was an achievable goal until Jana shared her products and services with me. My favorites are Dip Bars, the Albatross razor, Rebrand facial cleanser, coffee eye cream, and the refillable Little Seed Farm deodorant cream (I swear by this stuff, it’s the best deodorant EVER).

It’s been so wonderful to watch this business grow and expand, and I cannot wait to see where they go from here. Do not pass up an opportunity to stop by their shop and try a new alternative to your lifestyle. Fill Happy is such a welcoming place to explore your zero waste possibilities! Love this place so much!

I am on a low waste, toxic free journey for my family and I was thrilled to find this store! My kids really loved the experience of it and we got quite a few items. I am totally satisfied so far with all the products I purchased and I have a growing list for the next time I need to go, which will be soon.

Fill Happy is awesome! I've gotten some really neat products there. I especially like the plant-based reusable food wraps, dishwasher tables, hand soap, and toothpaste tablets. She always has something new (and good for the environment) to look at! I really like bringing my own containers and bags, but if you forget a container, she has some glass jars you can use. Wonderful experience!

I have been hoping for a shop like this for so long, especially the compost services! And Williamsburg has been needing this for so long! I have so much awe and respect for Jana, she thought this too, and when she didn't find it, she built it herself! Absolutely amazing; she and her store inspires me to do better for the environment, one little change at a time. We come here regularly to fill up on so many things I expected, and now fill up on so many things I never expected I would find a great refill/env friendly version of. (Most notably DIP bars! Totally convert, must try). Jana so carefully and intentionally curates each item she carries so you can be rest assured you're making a good decision for your family and for the environment (and saving countless hours of research to boot!) But Fill Happy is so much more than just the (amazing) products, here you are a part of something bigger than yourself, you are part of a movement to better the environment and your health and Wburg could not be luckier to have such an amazing leader in our community for this! Cannot recommend Fill Happy enough, I dare you to go just once! You'll be back regularly not just for the refills but for the wonderful vibe and energy of just being in the store and in the presence of someone who is so genuinely passionate about her cause. <3

What a great experience. Going into a shop like this could feel over whelming and you might be nervous that products will be pushed on you. Not the case here! The owner is absolutely wonderful. She truly is there to answer any questions and show you around to certain products *if you need it*. Products for all ages, all needs and all wants. Couldn’t recommend this more!

Jana was so kind and helpful and the shop was overflowing with great products! I was visiting from Southwestern VA and made a point to stop here, since we don’t have our own refill shop. I hope to come back again.

This is an amazing place to get clean products. The staff is very knowledgeable and I love it that you can bring your empty containers and fill them up again.

Love Fill Happy! I needed some hand soap and decided to check out the store. I was pleasantly surprised by the full line of available products including mineral sunscreen. I purchased both the hand soap and sunscreen. I tried the sunscreen and was happy that it went on clear which can be unusual for mineral sunscreens. I will be back and I will be bringing my own jars for my own refill and to donate for others to use. It is worth checking out.

Such a great store! I was really impressed at the variety of products they have. I’m excited to try more of them as I use up what I have at home. Williamsburg is so lucky to have a store like this!

Absolutely love this place! The owner, Jana, is so kind, helpful and knowledgeable. Great customer service, great selection of products, good prices, and they even have free jars to use if you didn't bring one AND you can donate jars too!! I will certainly be back soon, I'm so happy to have a fill-style store near me now!

I love everything I’ve gotten here! I have switched over my toothpaste, dish pods, laundry detergent, toilet cleaner, soap, and more!
