Safeway

I used to go to Safeway occasionally but recently I have been a much more frequent shopper. Great deals and much friendlier workers. The Starbucks girls are the best, Especially Ruby! She's such a hard worker and such a sweetheart.

Catherine, especially, and the entire staff under Jake's management were soooo kind + helpful when wallet was missing. Constant great customer service keeps us coming back. Thank you so kindly! Raises for all please! Merry Christmas!

The bakery is amazing & quick! I got a cake decorated for a retirement party and she was amazing!!! If you see her your will have an amazing decorate cake. As long as she is there I will get my cakes from here!!! It was tasty also! Yum 🥳

This is my local store it's always clean and organized. They recently remodeled so it's taking a sec to familiarize myself with all the changes but it should not be that difficult. The workers here are always polite and definitely make sure everything is up to par. They also have redboxes, gift card buyer and coin star kiosks

Very clean and well stocked store. Aisles are spacious and wide so you can move around with ease when pushing your cart. The employees are very helpful when you can't find certain items. Cashier are fast even when there are lines. The items at the Deli section go fast so try to go morning or early afternoon. Parking is never a hassle.

This is the first time we went to this store. We actually have Safeway store near by at our house. But just happened we were near by and just took a chance to get a better deal.

The store wasn't crowded and the lights were bright and shine. Safeway have always good price for fresh berries. Make sure become a member to get the club price.

The parking lot space quite spacious. If you come from Thunderbird, the store was easy to see.

We didn't really buy anything else's here except for whole food. It is also have a better tax here in Peoria. We are saving a few pennies from choosing stores whose have cheaper tax.

Great selections, clean store and fabulous customer service cashier Cathy B and self checkout attendant! I am making better eating choices, so I went by and saved on the fruit!

Very Good Customer Service I am very Satisfied with the Ladies at the flower shop that helped me with 7 bouquet of lily. I came back after 5pm for another 7 lily bouquet and the three Gentleman very helpful. Until they got my Lily from Customer Service. I am so grateful. Very happy. I recommend this Safeway 👌 to everyone.

Produce workers were super helpful!! Even went to back and got what I needed and with a smile! Refreshing!

The staff are absolutely amazing, especially a cashier i encountered the other day named Hazel. She was absolute wonderful and so kind to me; I was having such a bad day and she brightened it, I will remember her forever. Definitely recommend shopping here ❤

They had a sale on T-bone steak and I needed a 4 pack. They all came in a pack of 3. The younger guy, at the meat counter, explained to me that he can't make a 4 pack, as policy. I said I understand and thanks. An older man, who looks like he's going to be a curmudgeon, asked him what I wanted and to let me know that he'll be right with a 4 pack. Then, later on same trip, I asked the older butcher gentlemen if they had any more of the ground beef, that was on sale, and he replied that they did not, but he'll be right back with some that he'll put together. This was the last evening of the sale, so if they didn't have any more of the sale items, I was okay with walking away without what I needed. As of the last several years, I've rarely experienced really great service like this. I am bummed that I did not get his name. If I do get it, I will update this review.

Fairly average Safeway with a decent selection. The store is clean and the employees are relaxed. I liek thta it has a fedex location in store and every department is well stocked. Keep an eye out for the discount area at the back, my partner finds allot of really good desserts here at steep discounts and it's bad for my waistline. So please, visit this store and buy all the desserts from the mark down section before he does.

Sells your standard grocery items, but has some flavors of items that other stores might not carry i.e. canned coffee and energy drinks, prepackaged salads, cereals etc

Always a good experience shopping at Safeway. Great selection of produce and always fresh. Meats are of amazing quality. Stores always clean and organized, never chaos or shelf stocking during business hours. Great job Safeway 👍

Very clean and well stocked store! Typically not overly busy and multiple checkout lanes open. Plus several east to use self check registers are available with staff to help if needed.

My fav grocery store. Produce is super fresh and prices really good. Fresh veggie and fruit trays are half the price of other stores and very fresh. Flowers are so pretty. Prices of Safeway have come down a lot and are now lower then a lot of competitors. Cashiers are friendly and helpful. Mobility carts are always available and charged. Only issue is they store them by the door they lock early. So if you come after eight pm. You have to have someone get you one. So very inconvenient. My only complaint. Their fresh meat is really fresh and cheap compared to others. I only get my fresh meat here.

I was shopping for a Doordash customer, but the aisles were not as listed in my app. The employees were very friendly and helpful and either took me directly to the item, or told me the correct isle and location… made my efforts easy instead of frustrating. Thanks guys!!🙏

This is a very clean store. If you prefer esthetics over price, this is the store for you. Came there for some sale items. Their retail prices are higher than others, with many items. Kudos to them for being highly competitive with sales, their sales are what drew me in. Checkout was fast & easy, and they align with other stores in the areas of self-checkout and mobile app. features.

The staff were noticeably friendly. I was greeted by a cashier as I walked in. Shy of the Walmart door greeter person, no other store stands out for greeting me as I walked in, so brownie points for them on that.

They have decent cuts of meat in the butchers case. The prices were good as well and the store was nice and clean. I went to the Fry’s on the other side of the freeway and the meat was horrible.

Friendly, helpful clerks; clean, neatly stocked store; very clean deli with fresh food, and best of all, they had 3-4 open checkout lines, no being forced to go thru self-checkout!!!
