Valley Farm Market La Jolla

I recently visited the Valley, Farms, grocery store and was thoroughly impressed. The pre-cooked meat sample plate featuring pulled pork, brisket, and ribs with barbecue sauce was exceptional. The quality of the smoked meats was outstanding, and the preparation was timely. The staff’s friendliness added to the overall positive experience, making it a must-visit for meat enthusiasts.

There is a kitchen in the back behind the butcher shop. Surf & turf burrito is my go-to! Tons of grab and go options and beautiful steaks.

I’m obsessed with this market! Tons of fresh meat, ample selection of produce, and packed with local brands. The staff is noteworthy - always helpful and friendly. The guys in the meat department really know their stuff and will happily share recommendations. It’s not particularly cheap, but you know you’re in La Jolla, right?

Stopped by this morning to check out La Jolla’s new market Valley Farms Market. Butcher on site! Fresh produce! Family owned! Alas, I wanted a specific meat cut and they didn’t have it. Boohoo.
BUT, the manager (Bill) overheard me ask and requested that the butcher cut what I needed!!!
Awesome service. Super nice.

The people who work here are outstanding at customer service. This store is a reminder of a bygone era when shop owners cared about their customers and valued their business. Great job!

Fantastic selection of beer and meats. What more can you want? That being said, if you do want more... they have more! Fresh produce, spices, among other items. I personally cant get enough of the kitchen made items... try the burritos!

The fresh salmon at this butcher at Valley Farm is incredible. I don’t know what it is but it’s superior for sure. I can’t get enough! I get it without the skin. Just don’t overcook it. Highly recommend. The store also in general is awesome. I visit this store daily. It’s the best thing to happen to the neighborhood!

Premium grocery store with a handful of picnic tables under a covered patio out front. Lots of great brands and fresh food. We got the prepared food and speciality non-alcoholic drinks and the quality was great.

Freshly butchered meats and service by knowledgeable, patient and friendly product handlers are outstanding. Fresh Ahi and Salmon Poke always precisely cut without white membrane. Seasonal selection of fruits and vegetables is always fresh and well maintained. Speciality items such as White Truffle Oil abound. French baguettes are worthy of a daily visit.

This newly built, European-like, convenient, clean Valley Farm Market is everything and more than I had hoped for as I watched with anticipation the construction site on La Jolla Blvd.

If you are in need of alcoholic beverages, a liquor store is a few steps away. If you need toiletries or cleaning products...and we all do from time-to-time...do like I do and stop by a chain store or shop on line.

I love this little market. They have fresh cut meat, and some cooked and ready to reheat at home. Great French pastry and bread. Its just so fun and feels so good, like your in Europe!

Love the new La Jolla location. Same great meat and produce selection that I've come to love at their Spring Valley location but with a La Jolla twist. The made-to-order food options are also outstanding.

A wonderful neighborhood grocery store -organic fruits and veggies, and some great fresh meat and beer selections. They have healthy choices and they make dips and sides house made, and have a kitchen menu to order hot foods.

Great store. Visited daily and the fresh fish and tuna poke was delicious. Customer service is absolutely excellent - I had an issue with something I bought and the next day it was immediately resolved. Expensive but the quality is exceptional.

This is my favorite dessert place i get my launch there all the time but i can’t walk out with out dessert specially the macaroons never tried something so good or any other places have such an amazing flavor of macaron

Tri tip is better than Cardiff Crack...high quality meats and fish, like a local butcher. Now they have a great selection of craft beer and spirits.

Our favorite little market! They have a fantastic kombucha selection and everything you need on the go
