I can't believe this many people have such Negative things to say about CVS in SF. I have NEVER had anything but GREAT & WONDERFULLY POSITIVE things to say about this pharmacy. There's, obviously, not a whole lot of competition here in SF for Rx needs sooooo maybe the problem is not actually the employees there at CVS but more possibly the customers. Customers, whom clearly have NOT yet had the pleasure of experiencing TRUE rudeness &/or incompetence.
Try Walgreens off Hwy3 in LM & then yall can judge a bit more accurately.

One of my prescriptions popped open in the mail, the package the medicine was in was ripped in both corners. I have RA, so unfortunately sometimes my hands don't work, and I had them give me easy open lids. Consequently my lyrica popped open and spilled in the package, since it was both corners were busted, I lost 26 pills. I called the pharmacy and the manager was out, when I came to the pharmacy to pick up more meds I asked to speak to the pharmacy manager. (He goes by initials, but i don't remember his initials.) He was amazing! He worked his magic, filed a claim I guess, and he filled the missing amount of meds. I had to show him proof of everything and I'm having to file a claim with the post office, but he was amazing. I use this medicine as a daily maintenance medicine, so I couldn't afford to skip that many days. Thanks so much for all your help!

Everyone was working very hard. People were everywhere demanding their scripts immediately. The pharmacy technicians were really trying. The Pharmacist was working to get everything finished as fast as he could.

I don't understand why people get so up tight. If your precipitations are not ready when they say they are. Folks look it could be a glitch in the system or they (the employees) are having a bad day. DON'T you from time to time. I am not from SF just seen this through looking to see if there is a CVS in SF. Going on vacation there in a few weeks So before cutting the company down. Step back and look at how their day is going too. Have a Super Blessed Day!!

The pharmacy is great never a problem but the store side is always a problem. Almost everything I go there its something. They have problems accepting their own coupons and say I don't know why but would help you because their to busy.

Just this year, I had the flu and strep, and had the prescriptions called into CVS pharmacy; I got there 3 hours later, and they still didn't have them ready. They told me that it would be another 1 hour for them to fill them. Since the others were medicines that would just lessen how bad I was feeling, and not heal them; I asked them how long it would take just to fill the Tamiflu, and they told me 30 min; so I said I would wait. 30 minutes later, while waiting in the parking lot, they called me to say that they were out of that medication. I had a fever and felt absolutely horrible, and most pharmacies would've checked first before having a customer wait. Also this year, my wife went and paid for prescriptions and they double charged us. When we went in to get it fixed, they told us that there was no way that this could've happened because legally you cannot buy the same prescriptions twice, so we had to go to our bank and file a unauthorized transaction for over $100.00. The only reason I give it two stars is because April there is incredibly helpful and sweet.
