Bear Pond Books Store

Bear Pond Books is a fabulous bookshop in the heart of Stowe. There is just something so special about walking into a bookshop and picking out your next read. They also offer a lovely selection of coffee table books which make a wonderful gift + adorable trinkets, puzzles, cards from local Vermont artists and a huge selection of gift wrap. There is something for everyone at Bear Pond Books!

This might be the best bookstore. The way the books are organized and displayed is so attractive I could have spent hours looking around. A great variety something for everyone and lots of local books. I especially enjoyed the puzzle section. What a better thing to do on vacation than grab a book and a puzzle and relax.

A nice bookstore with a wide variety of books to choose from. Walkways in the store can be a bit tight, especially on a crowded day but it's still worth checking out. Prices are normal compared to other bookstores.

When I go visit my family in VT Bear Pond Book Store is a must stop. The associates are nice and always recommending books or their favorites.

Great selection of books. Displayed beautifully so you can see them easily. Organized in great sections. Wonderful gifts and greeting cards. FANTASTIC jigsaw puzzle selection. And they allow dogs inside. My favorite bookstore to date.

This is a quaint bookstore in downtown Stowe, VT. They sell a variety of greeting cards from local craftspeople. I must say that I found the artwork on the cards to be beautiful and inspiring. The store sells a large selection of children's books, fictional, historical, autobiographical books as well as books that fall into other genres.

This place is the best bookstore in the area. The staff are incredibly nice, very helpful, and always smile when I walk in. They have a decent collection of Vermont books along with some very nice cards, both handmade and not. Their kids section is amazing and they have a large selection of recent novels. The science section is small, but they have the important books. My favorite part of the store is bookshelf right in the middle near the register that is "staff picks". I always find something interesting there.

What a wonderful book store! Has a great selection of books and activities for children. Loved the way everything was displayed - it made it easy for us to navigate through them all!

Nice bookstore, but especially nice that they sell a few of Adele Taplin's artwork. If you haven't looked up her stuff, you gotta check it out!

Excellent variety. Kids, YA, History, Vermont topics, coloring mazes, post cards, journals, calendars; helpful staff! Have gone multiple times!!

Very friendly staff and reasonable prices. The building is much bigger than it looks, and they have a huge selection. Love supporting small businesses.
