Whole Foods Market

I discovered the Whole Foods Store is the first original one. It provides a variety of healthy foods. It is clean and the staff are nice and right in the middle of downtown Austin.

Whole Foods is one of my favorite stores. I had never been to this particular location and decided to give it a visit. I just liked this store a lot. They even had a flower shop which I have never seen in other Whole Foods. I also loved their collection of sourdough breads. They had a great selection of veggies and gluten free and healthy snacks. They had an amazing assortment of restaurants where you can eat inside the store. I also loved the cute little coffee shop. Had so much fun and would definitely come back again to this location.

Great hot bar/salad bar. Easy way to "eat the rainbow". Prepared foods, olive bar, good cheese selection, wine and beer, beauty and health care products, and even yoga mats. Great parking outside or down below in the garage. Onsite Juice Land and Burger Joint. Multiple salad bars with hot and cold food. Convenient dining area upstairs, and on ground floor; seating also available outside. A good amount of bulk grains and spices.

It is insane how great this place is. They have many healthy food options but I went there for the hot bar and it was perfect. They had many different things from pizza to veggies to wings and more. This was only my second time being to a Whole Foods and it was just as good as the first time I went.

Always an experience. Always a mystery where they find all these different brands. Good fresh food. An Austin original.

I come for a specific dessert and it's always super delicious but I'm not going to disclose what it is because then people will buy it and it'll be harder for me to get. Very delicious food. The groceries are a bit expensive outside of produce which is reasonably priced. They have a great selection of soaps. Parking is usually never a problem

I've been to MANY Whole Foods locations across North America, and this one is by far one of the best. It's always clean, always fully stocked and the staff are super kind. It's massive, but somehow they keep it so beautiful and I love the local options. Keep up the great work!

Forks,spoons,knifes in green dispenser beside sliding door, for salad bar! The salad bar was all extremely fresh! The salad bar and the self checkout employees that assisted me were very nice and friendly. Upstairs inside eating area(6 large tables/bench style). Outside shades pavilion(17 tables in middle and 6 tables by the windows) w/beautiful relaxing landscaping and “zoo” bird sounds. If need like I did in emergency case, there are “Pact” brand undies in beauty section. Amazon return hub and restrooms are on 1st level behind Next Level Burger(west side of store), restrooms down hallway, men’s on immediate left, women’s further down at end on right. Indoor lounge EtOH Bar in back center of store. The 365 cranberry water is yummy(30g sugar though,fyi). Huge store, wide aisles. Many self checkouts(20?). I love this Whole Foods location, favorite of all time I think.

Very solid addition to the WF line up. Place is massive and offers some unique options for guests like an indoor bar, outdoor patio, very large wine selection and good sized hot food bar/grab and go area. The parking isn’t too bad of a hassle either for its location. I do wish they’d branch out in the dark chocolate department- not a lot of unique selections compared to the other WFs in the area (or country)

I have not been in this store for a few years but it's just as awesome as ever. Everything about this store is amazing, even the parking garage. Best wine dept in Austin with the biggest organic wine selection in town. The Stellar Organics Pinotage is fantastic. The hot food bar is my favorite lunch stop when in town.

I want to give a special shoutout to Scott in produce! I asked him where the fennel was, and told him that it wasn’t for one of our recipes but was our lizard’s favorite treat! He said they were out for the day, and to try to check back tomorrow morning. However as we were walking to checkout, Scott ran up and found us with the last two fennel bulbs in the store! He scoured the refrigerators in the back, and found a couple left over, and gave us the leafiest one (our lizard Tito’s favorite part). Thank you for your kindness and care Scott! You made Tito’s night extra special with his favorite treat :) and we appreciate you going above and beyond for your customers, both big and small.

Amazing store! If you need it, want it or never even thought of it..you will find it here! Added bonus- select Whole Foods have their very own barbecue pits and everyone I’ve tried has been great. There was a long line of customers waiting to select their favorite cut of meat & BBQ appropriate sides so I skipped the line and found the larger than usual hot bar selections. Interesting items like a spiced fried tofu, an entire bar of chicken from Buffalo Wings to Fried Thai thighs to home style fried chicken. A bar of freshly baked pizza by the slice, ( families with kids lined up ). And as usual, even packed with customers, the staff was friendly and helpful!

Thanks for being here and having an epic selection for the salad bar and prepared foods! There’s always something from this marvelous selection. People are friendly and knowledgeable. And for anyone complaining about price, knock it off. It’s done better than any other

When you go to a Whole Foods, you expect a few standard things. There is a buffet, a few prepared food stations, the deli, the produce, the bakery, and a few more.

Since this Whole Foods is the pride of the fleet, the grand flagship of the company, it is reasonable to expect even more.

And this place does not disappoint, as long as cost isn't an issue.

Buffet foods were well prepared, and had a wonderful aroma. The food stations we're well stocked and multiple, though the taco station did not have cassava tortillas, which was a tad disappointing.

I recommend spending the $5 on the cocowhip, but be aware that they only give you a reasonably sized sneeze of cocowhip in a small sized cup.

Also, they have massages available in the basement.

Wow! What an experience.
Very different to all the other stores.
They have a plant based burger joint there called next level burgers and it is awesome.

Wished they would open more of them up.

Largest WF I have been in. Fantastic selection of produce, poultry, beef, seafood and baked goods. Biggest hot / salad bar of any WF.

Absolutely wonderful! Vast selection of fresh fish meat veggies and fruit. Also indoors restaurants where you can eat Asian, fresh sushi or sea food while enjoying a glass of wine. I was a little overwhelmed at first, took me a while to get adjusted and figure out where everything is, but it was worth it.

This is the most original whole foods ever. I always look up for grabbing lunch there because it's very nutritious. I recommend everything about this store. Especially the food bar. I love the atmosphere here. Its always busy and you can never get bored. We ate lunch outside on their patio style eating area and it was a great experience.

THE Original of course the grocery store is pretty big with a spacious parking lot in downtown area. There is a nice relaxing area where you can have a bite while you watch kids run around in the play area.
