I have been getting my prescriptions here,
photos printed here, and shopping here for a few years now and never had a bad experience. Everyone here has always been helpful and friendly. Example, my 6 yr old got sick a couple of days ago and had very high fevers and the prescription for her antibiotic was out if stock. When I called about it the pharmacist did all she could to make sure she got antibiotics that day. After speaking to her she had it filled in 10 minutes! Not only that, she helped me figure out the correct dosing for her fever medication and gave me tips on how to lower her fever. She was absolutely wonderful and patient with me as I was stressed and panicked about my child. I would give 10 stars if I could!

Pharmacy severely understaffed. It's not the employees faults, but the pharmacy hours are now much shorter and the wait times longer. Go somewhere else.

Pain meds for my after surgery dog were called in here. They were not available the same day on Friday (they had 5 hours). And turns out that this pharmacy is closed on the weekends.

Prescription was called in 2 hours ago for my 7 year old daughter.. Waited in the drive thru for pharmacy for 45 minutes then they closed the window as I was pulling up. So I Pulled into a space waiting for them to open back up and went back through the line. The lady told me it would be 15 more minutes, pulled through the line and 3rd time.. and finally got prescription. Poor service. If at all possible DO NOT go to the walgreens pharmacies!! I have been to other pharmacy in town that are 100% better. Normally, I wouldn't go to walgreens pharmacy but I was on that side of town.

I thought I’d try theWashington Ave. Walgreens in Cookeville after returning from Knoxville all day with my husband who received a new medication and was in need of it. I was very disappointed with the young blonde woman that waited on me this afternoon. When I arrived to the pharmacy and asked for my husbands medicine I was told it had not been received. I said do you mind checking to see if it has been called in and she said we just checked it 10 minutes ago, maybe you should call your doctor. I assured her the doctor definitely sent it to this Walgreens and she said”we don’t have it, maybe you should check the other Walgreens in town”. This isn’t service, this is simply someone doing the bare minimum while getting paid to supposedly help customers. Let me add that there was a pharmacist and another technician close by. However, the experience I was enduring soon made sense to me when the young lady informed me they were closing soon at 5pm.

I changed to Walgreens about a year ago and you couldn’t have ask for better service now it is awful. Wait 20 mins in the drive thru line only to get to the window and find a sign that says no pharmacist on duty this is insane that they only have 1 pharmacist available. When you call you get a message welcoming Kroger customers dang they can’t handle the ones they have to begin with. Will be looking for a better option.

Nothing more frustrating than getting up to the drive thru window and seeing a “closed, please come inside” sign.. then going inside and seeing them close for lunch before you get to the counter. Only being open M-F like 9am-5pm (plus totally closing up for lunch) makes it incredibly difficult to get medication if you work FT through the week. No weekend hours are also rough when you really need a script filled. I can’t transfer one of our family’s meds, but plan to transfer the rest to CVS or literally anywhere else besides Walgreens!

Incompetent and lazy. They will do everything in their power to not fill a prescription. Don't go here. Waited over 5 hours for them to mix an antibiotic for my sick child and finally just had the prescription transferred. They are no quicker at counting pills either. Your doctor might think you have high blood pressure now, but just wait. If you would love to experience hell on earth then just go here.

Horrible pharmacy customer service. I had to come over from the willow Walgreens because they were out of stock of a cough medicine. I had to wait for 10 minutes and call twice just to get someone to answer. I then waited an hour for a *part* of my script to be filled. When I drive through I was told it was still not ready and since they were going to lunch in 30 minutes, it may not be ready until another 1.5 later. I get it was short notice but judging by the other reviews, this is typical for this location.

It's so bad, I had to go to my old Gmail account to leave another review. Called at noon, waited on hold for 30 minutes, told them my wife would pick up my prescription at 4, they said that it would be ready (as one would assume), she waited in line for 30 minutes for them to tell her it isn't ready and that she needed to go inside to wait. I can't stress this enough, go anywhere but here. I will be switching to a different location. Also their hours are worse now which only adds to the wait times.

Worst pharmacy experience ever. They said my insurance wouldn't cover my prescription when it did (I had to wait 20 minutes for this) so I called my insurance provider after & they told me to provide the pharmacy with their number so they can go over more information. When I tried to offer the number they just denied me service & demanded that my doctor needed to fill out more paper work....which just was not the case & my insurance providrr confirmed this for me. They were just being lazy & didn't want to help me near closing. I needed my medicine & they wouldn't provide me service. Go to the other Walgreens nearby, at least they won't deny you service.

Terribly customer service from one pharmacy technician and staff pharmacist. There is no reason to fill a prescription for 90 days of the patient request 30 and insurance pays for 30. These two were terrible to my grandmother. Moving her from this store because this is not the first incident with the same technician. I pray she never has an elderly grandparent treated the way she did my grandmother.

The pharmacy here is the ABSOLUTE worst customer service I have ever experienced. Be prepared to wait over a half hour in line (drive thru and in person). They never answer the phone, they give incorrect information resulting in multiple trips, and are never apologetic. Do yourself a favor and do not use this pharmacy

Refused to fill my prescription because during store hours without an explanation. Just that I would have to get my prescription filled at another walgreens or other retailer. Last time I ever use this walgreens, possibly any.

Orders are never ready on time. There’s never any communication. You just wait.. wait.. The pharmacy opens late and closers early. Terrible lunch hours.
