Absolutely brilliant selection of music, including new stuff and rarirties. Prices are out of this world ridiculously good. Loved the vibe of this place, I will be coming back. I was really impressed by their niche selection or artists, too.

Thousands of records, from old classics to week old releases. Very well organized and staffed by people who know how to find what you need. I came in looking for a specific album and was led directly to it (out of thousands) by a very polite and helpful staff member. They also have solid, robust equipment for ensuring your listening experience is as excellent as possible.

Let me just start by saying the employees here are the best. They’re always so friendly and treat me and my friend so well when we stop by. I definitely recommend checking them out. From the listening parties they hold to the record store day events they manage. It’s a top tier store. They have a wide variety of items, and it’s rare that I walk out without buying anything. They’ve definitely been the main supplier of my record collection. They always have a good stock on release days and are quick to order something if you ask them. I can’t even tell you how many records I’ve purchased here. I will always be a repeat customer at this location:)

Record stores hold a special Nostalgia. This place is in a hip part of Norman and is easily accessible. The staff are very friendly and they have a great selection of CDs and vinyl. You might be able to find a few cassettes and record players there too. If you're looking for cheap records, and a hip place to hang out this is the place to be.

I love the experience here. In the digital age, for a while we lost the experience of going into a local record store and picking up a great album that you have been anticipating. The staff is always so friendly and the selection is amazing. Considering what records cost now the prices aren't bad either.

Loved it! After looking somewhere to trade some old records, my husband, found this place online. Went and checked it out I had called other places and was told they wouldn't take the old ones or would give me $.05 for each one... this place gave me $.25 for each! Was very satisfied with their selection. They worked with me on a trade as well. Will definitely be returning!

The person that answered the phone was so polite and efficient. It saved me a 30 minute drive. So appreciated!!

The only place you can really go locally. Usually solid, but occasionally you have an employee who thinks everyone needs to hear their horrible music, or tons of college kids descending and crowding the isles and shout-talking. They are for the most part usually polite and helpful, which makes the times when they aren’t stand out.

If you love vinyl, this is the place. This location versus their OKC location is smaller but definitely great for local vinyl finds from new releases to trade ins. It has CDs too.

Best record store in the metro (Norman and the one on Western in OKC) hands down. Prices are in line with online options and typically within two dollars either direction for new albums.

The staff was friendly and helpful, but didn't hover and they let customers browse at their leisure. They had an impressive and eclectic collection. I'll definitely be back.

Got some great deals here on items I couldn't order online anymore. Was very happy to find them and cheaper than originally priced. Help at the store is always thoughtful and helpful. I love their inner and outer protective sleeves too!

So I knew I was going to be in the area, so naturally I looked up record shops. Unsurprisingly this appeared to be the only one in Norman, OK. However, I must say this shop is legit. I think it could hold its own in most cities. The selection was large; Hip hop, metal, punk, pop, even a little Afrobeat. The prices were fair. There was even a decent sized bargain bin. Staff tended to be quiet and out of the way. And... the store stickers were free!!! Stop in for sure.

Guestroom Records is a great record store and I am glad we have one here in Norman. I go there frequently and the staff has always been pleasant and helpful. I know several of them on a first name basis and have been going there for so long that I consider them friends. I like that they have a large selection of new records, gently used records, and discount bargain bin records. They are up to date with many new releases. They carry a little bit of everything! Shout out to Will and Joey for always being friendly and helpful! It's a 5 star for me!
