Brandy Melville - Back Bay

My daughter loves this store because she is tiny and everything is petite so it fits her well. It is very hard for her to find clothes that fit her. The store was crazy busy, laid out in a pleasing manner, and had lots of changing rooms so that clothes could be tried on. The majority of the employees were pleasant - a few didn't seem very happy to be there. Overall, we had a great experience and would recommend checking out the store if you are in the area.

I see a lot of negative comments towards the young ladies that work here.

Take this for example, we were all young once in high school or early 20s for many of them it may be their first job or first chance to be responsible for something besides homework and chores. Yes they are not perfect but in general the store functions okay and they are learning. At least they are showing up to work and trying — some people don’t even do that.

Every time I’ve been in here the cashiers haven’t given me a problem. Be a little more lenient & patient in retail stores.

Girls were super nice! Complimented my purse and got a top from the back that I thought was out of stock from the back. Store is a lil small but it’s clean and organized!

This is our second one we have been too. Staff were super friendly. Super busy at opening make sure to shop fast or you may be waiting in a dressing room line or checkout line. Haha. Most the items are one size fits all, but not all.

Recently visited and ended up buying heaps of clothing items. This store has a huge range of good quality clothing items, with lots of stylish and comfortable pieces. The store has a great atmosphere with positive vibes all around. It's the perfect place to shop and enjoy the experience. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, making my visit even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

I visited Brandy today as someone who hasn’t been in the store since pre-Covid. It was an insanely busy day (considering it was a Sunday/tourist season). I was nervous to wait in line since it was so long, but all of the workers were HUSTLING. I probably didn’t wait more than 5 minutes. The girl who checked me out was super sweet and gave me a tote to carry my purchases. I would love to go back in on a weekday to avoid the insane foot traffic. Other than that, all of the associates were hardworking and helpful. Will definitely be back soon :)

Employees are super knowledgeable and helpful when trying to find the right sizes for the opposite gender! Will definitely come back again for more gifts!

i was nervous to go into the store because of the stuff i heard online, but my experience was great! i was looking for some pants and couldn't find them so i asked a worker near the fitting rooms and she was very nice and polite even though they didn't have them. i ended up buying 3 pieces of clothing and they are now my favorite things in my closet! love brandy melville, definitely coming back here and buying again!

The girls were super nice to me! I love that their clothes are all size small because I have the smallest body ever, and I could never ever purchase my shirts, sweatpants, and sweaters from another clothing brand. This brand has helped me learn how to love my body for how it is. Thank you so much!!

I went on a Thursday afternoon, when the store was pretty quiet, and I had a pretty good experience. the girls helped me find some stuff that was almost out of stock, even when they were already off work. they were really chill about the changing room, thankfully, since sometimes they watch you the whole time and it makes me kinda uncomfortable. the cashier was really cooperative and answered all my questions thoughtfully, and I’m pretty excited to go back next time!

I visited the store this past weekend for a little bit of holiday shopping and had the best experience! The girls who work at the store appear young but are so thoughtful! One girl in particular helped me out so much. I think her name was Milly. She gave me advice on pieces and rang me up. She was also helping so many people at the same time! I was very impressed.

great store, love shopping there for my daughter. one of the girls, she seemed to be like 16 and had brown hair. I can't remember her name but I know it started with a J, helped me shop for my 13 year old. she was super helpful, and checked the clothes out for me once i was done. my daughter loved the clothes. Thank you so much to that girl. Def deserves a Raise!!!!

Stopped by because I have heard so many good things about this store and I wasn’t disappointed. I walked in, a little lost since I have never been to Newbury Street, but the workers welcomed me and answered all my questions. Milly helped me pick out clothes depending on what I told her I was looking for, she gave me the cutest shirts and a pair of jeans I have been wanting for a long time, I hope to come back soon!

I walked in the store and this woman looked at me. I continued to shop ignoring this visibly angry woman. She followed me around and when I wasn’t looking SNIFFED MY HAIR. I then went to the fitting room to try on this cute vintage y2k American horror story core sweater. The lady then approached me and said “How many” then snatched my clothes and counted them. I went into the fitting room and heard her laughing maniacally. I exited and viewed her in a corner standing over something. I had no clue what it was so I ran. I ran straight to the register to buy everything I had in my hands. The person who checked me out looked terrified and spoke with such fear. When they said “You have 2 weeks to return your items for store credit” they sounded broken and hurt. I wonder who hurt them. But that’s none of my business. I left the establishment and never looked back.

I had an excellent experience, the salesgirls picked out top's for my niece, were very friendly and helpful, and gave me attention and suggestions, I'll definitely come black. I'd like to especially commend Abby and Anna, they're excellent, knowledgeable, and are a true credit to the company.

Jayla is amazingggggg!!!! I went to buy a sweater and they didnt have the brown out but she went ahead and found it for me! such a sweetheart. she most definetly deserves to be recognized as a hard working employee. if it were up to me, id give her a raise asap!

Just love the store and the cloths fit great! the workers in there are very nice and very helpful! have a verity of styles and sizes for different shirts, prices are affordable as well!
