Lowe's Home Improvement

I love this Lowe's location due to the cuatomer service, even though it is out of my way compared to other stores. Recently I had excellent service with Tom (I believe his last name is Deal) who really helped me troubleshoot an issue I had with a hanging light fixture and some trim I needed for a window. He was helpful, walked me to the aisles I needed to go to, and was friendly.

The store has a good layout and positive atmosphere.

I’m a fanboy of Lowe’s, but it seems there is more a mix of representatives who don’t wish to interact and help customers, than are those who are. Of the handful of friendly and helpful representatives that are willing to offer assist customers, my experiences were great. For the most part the store was clean, shelves were stocked, and there plenty of room so as to not feel crowded. *This is Alaska, so of course there will be seasons where 10mm sockets, for example, will be hard to come by.

Great service! We had some wood to cut and the employee was super quick. My only issue during this visit was at the checkout, none of the employees would listen to me. It took 5 Lowe's employees to lookup the price on a piece of plywood. I offered twice to show them the stack I pulled the plywood from, but they all refused. After 5-10 minutes they finally had the right item and price. Lowe's your employees did everything right except they didn't listen to the customer. I highly suggest having the bar codes printed on the wood, but that may be a manufacture issue to resolve. Otherwise I got what I wanted even if it took a bit longer to checkout.

Jake, Micki & George provided amazing customer service, especially on Father’s Day (short staffed). I found an assembled grill (last one) , had a couple of nick’s on it, and Jake gave me a discount. Then I realized I was irresponsible and left my card somewhere, and Lowe’s does not offer scan & pay by phone (apple wallet), so I had to do an online order (my card saved on my file), but I wouldn’t be able to get a discount on the grill. I went back in and spoke with George & Micki, they told me to go ahead and place the order online and that they would adjust the price on their backend when they receive my order. And, they did just that. They were very nice, polite and professional. I was stressing, they were not. They actually kept me calm. 🤦🏽‍♀😂 George helped me get the grill in my truck and I went on my way. What a great experience and I can’t believe how understanding they were. I LOVE Lowes on the South Side. 😊 I appreciate employees like them.

Today 5/27/23 I needed some 2x8s cut at Lowe's. I was told by an associate to go back to the saw and he would sent somebody. Wish i would have gotten his name, the attitude sucked! After waiting 10 minutes by the saw another associate walked by and I asked if he could cut the 2x8s? He said he'd get somebody! 10 minutes later a guy named Robert comes by and asked if he could help me. I explained what had been going on. He dropped everything he was doing. Apologized for Lowe's, cut my lumber, and treated me great! Thanks Robert!

Went looking for bathroom tiles. Found everything beautiful and reasonably priced. Great shopping, masks worn by all. Thanks Lowe's.

Update 4.4.22: I found the Mr Heater Tough Buddy I had been seeking for my home back-up & for camping. 👍

Pretty much whatever I need, I can find it at Lowe's. Friendly, knowledgeable folks.

Lowe’s is just a cool place in general. This one is well stocked and well staffed. The employees are friendly when asked for help and are never seen just standing around gossiping. Gives a very efficient feeling.

Always stop in at this location on our way back to the peninsula as we do not have a Lowe's in our area anymore. They always have everything that we need at competitive prices.... The Plant section is always well stocked and maintained... We have not visited any of the other locations in the Anchorage area, but I assume they are all as well staffed and stocked.... We will always buy what we can from Lowe's due to our local Home Depot having an issue keeping employees, and then having employees that are not at all knowledgeable about the departments they work in, not all of the employees but the majority for sure....

Another successful trip to my local trusted Lowe's! Shelves where stocked and that made my current home improvement project a little easier.

Walking out and seeing this view reminds me of why I love living here.

I picked up a custom order of flooring on 12/9 and I didn’t catch the name of the man who helped me get my flooring but he was a tremendous help and very polite. He helped get my order from the back very quickly and helped me load it into my vehicle. He was also very polite and courteous during the entire exchange even tho it was kind of cold and windy outside. Very pleased with the customer service here

I like this store... you will get what you need... you can return your items with no questions ask. However, it depends on the staff assigned. One of the staff, was hesitated to recieved my return with receipt and obvious defect of the following items which I returned on the next day. Maybe he thought that I am a shoplifter because of my nasty appearance on that time, or I don't know..😄

They have such a great assortment of paints....from chalk paint, too sealers, I even found the rustolium glitter paint there!!!

Not my usual location to go to, but had to order some appliances that were only in stock here. Ordered online for pick up.

The online half of the order was a nightmare (blame Corporate) but the staff at the store were excellent. They helped get the online mistakes sorted (like it being marked for delivery, not pick up, and trying to double charge my card).

Staff got me loaded up quickly and even threw on a little discount to the order for the trouble the online process had caused.

I’ve been a loyal Lowe’s customer for years and this location has helped ensure I will continue to be.

I always get great service here at the Pro Desk.

I went in to get tile grout cleaner for the top of my butcher block table. They did not have any of the top three products I requested! ("Cleaning products are hard to get a hold of right now,") the very pleasant floor worker patiently explained. I asked him what he uses at home; he showed it to me and said that it works well. I bought one container of it and it's better than soap and water. I'll keep checking back.
