Costco hearing aid store

I bought a oair of Phillips hearing aids at the Perrysburg, Ohio Cosco about 3-4 weeks ago. Fort Wayne was actually much closer but their appointment times were 3 weeks out and the Perrysburg was a matter of days.
After getting the hearing aids I noticed a remarkable difference from my old ones (Phonak at $4600) and these came in at about $1900, The only problem that I had was that tthe ear bud would not stated seated enough to take advantage of the quality of sound.
However the other day my appointment was diverted to Keith, was filling in for my regular rep who was ill. In a matter of 15 minutes he resolved the problen by using smaller rather than bigger ear buds and now all is good.
I would give the Perrysburg Costco and its staff all of the five stars if you're looking for competence and customer oriented service.

My mother is 98 years old and is extremely sharp. Her main deficit is she is very hearing impaired. So when one of her hearing aid's stopped working she was somewhat devastated. Costco was very good to get her in for an appointment to purchase new hearing aids. HOWEVER, instead of making a return appointment at the time we ordered hearing aids, they waited for the hearing aids to arrive in the store. Then, they had no openings for an entire week to get her back in to pick up her new hearing aids. EVERYONE that I have shared this story with asked why Costco could not make the return appointment at the time of purchase. I wonder that too!!! My poor mother is really having a hard time going 3 weeks without being able to hear much of anything. When you are 98 years old, 3 weeks is a VERY LONG TIME! I'm thinking that maybe COSTCO should reevaluate their appointment process. I feel like they have our money, so no hurry at this point. Maybe true, maybe not.

Took off three stars the receptionist is very rude. Makes you wait even when doing nothing. Talks to you like a child, never a please or a thank you. She is always this way I’ve been there many times for cleaning over the years. Technicians are okay.
