Millers surplus is the best. I’ve been buying my military style work boots there for years. I’ve also made other purchases of military equipment there. They also have lots of work clothing and FR clothing. The owner ( Don) is a World War II veteran who works at the store every single day. It’s a pleasure and honor to converse with him.Don has run that business since 1951.The employees are very friendly and helpful as well. This place is amazing!
I moved from L.A. to Tucson a couple of years ago. I always loved going to Army surplus stores in L.A. and finding all kinds of cool things from knives to durable socks. This place has everything and it's the biggest one I've seen. I needed some new work clothes, (construction), and I wasn't disappointed. I got new boots, pants, sweatshirt and a jacket. The staff is very helpful and the guy who helped me with my boots was very informative. I was there with my wife and little babygirl and the store was about to close. I told my wife that I need to go back there when I have at least two hours to look around. Thank you Millers!

Since 1951, Miller's Surplus has stood as a direct reflection of its remarkable owner & CEO, Mr. Donald Sloane. Don went to college to study business after coming home to New York City after World War II, then ventured all the way out here to start this business upon graduation. In 1966 urban renewal found him relocating from Congress St. to create this store. It stands as a repository for Don's amazing energy to circulate among us evermore, as well as a virtual monument to an endearing man and beloved fellow Tucsonian! One of the oldest stores it Tucson and wel worth the trip. I buy something Everytime in in there.

They always treat me well and I highly recommend them. I met owner "Don" today. What an awesome guy and WW2 vet. We had a great conversation while my pants were being hemmed.

Absolute awesome service. Love this place. Maria does the alterations (hemming pants etc.) and she’s outstanding!!

Usually I can find everything I need for the camping/outdoors stuff. Sadly no camp fuel.

I'm fortunate enough to work for a company that gives me a $250 allowance for boots... And even more fortunate that the allowance is spent at Miller's surplus!!

I was super excited about going there and I was not let down. The store literally has everything you could want for work, casual, or military needs. Bikers welcome! You won't find better boots anywhere else I GUARANTEE you that!

I forgot the gentleman's name that helped me, but he was super helpful in helping me make the right choice. I told him about the issue on my right foot that causes me to use a wider shoe, and he totally accommodated my request by finding me the boot I wanted in a wide size... UNHEARD OF. I can't express how diligent he was and I will definitely be going back to shop there for all my other needs!

This store has all your camo/ hunting gear and a huge selection of blue colar work attire. All types of work boots and the staff is friendly and informative.

Pretty much the only place I go for surplus military or camping! The staff have the best attitude, especially during this epidemic, and they are friendly and helpful. Enjoy the photospheres and go get your outdoors shopping done!

Great place for Clothing and Gear for Camping and other Adventures. Don, the Owner, is a World War II Veteran and still very active, running the Store since 1951. Yeah, 1951. I love stopping by to see him and talk every now and then. Everyone there is friendly and the prices are competitive

Millers Surplus has been there since I was a kid. They have a lot of great camping equipment, boots , clothing and much more. The staff was a great help

This place is great!! The staff was so incredibly helpful. I needed steel toe shoes. They were able to help me find good shoes and thick socks appropriate for the job. They also helped me find a 501st airborne pin for my husband. Thank you so much!!

Had so much cool stuff. Loved all of their patches and mil gear. Honestly, if you're looking for anything cool at all, this is the place to go. The patches were a little pricier than I would've hoped for but that doesn't make it even worth a 4 star review. Overall, it's a really cool store.

I was more than impressed by their low prices. Also the large selection and variety of products! I went to get some paracord of a certain color you just can't get anywhere else except online. Of course you have to wait on internet shopping and let me tell you you pay less at Miller's! Very nice. I'm super happy I discovered Tucson's best kept secret for military gear! Lots and lots of useful stuff I highly recommend visiting! Cheers!

There's not much surplus. But there is a great selection of uniforms and molle gear. Good selection of camping equipment as well.

Love this place! Got scolded for trying on shoes and walking around the boot section, but love this place!
