I love shopping for my meats at Avon the people that work there or so respectful and kind and they take time to get the order right is also a good place to go if you want to meet chop and if you don't feel like walking around the supermarket great place for meats

Old school 1930s butcher. Super friendly workers and just good energy vibes. They don’t make em like this anymore.

Great selection of all types of meat. Steaks cut to order while you wait. Delicious quality meats and very fair prices. The place is in a sketchy part of town.

A very impressive meat market with a wide variety of proteins and sides. They seem to have everything with excellent service and competitive pricing. I had a delicious porterhouse steak, cut for BBQ.

Jim (the owner) is great guy who likes to have a good conversation while we unloaded. Made the work easier and enjoyable.

They eere closed and almost out of meat, but the butcher let me in when I told him I had traveled from out of town to avoid predicted bad weather. He went through the little bit they had left and found a piece of meat that would feed my family. Compassion and great service, coupled with first rate meat, keeps me coming back here.

This is probably one of the best places I have ever been for hot beef sausage. Actually, there is no better beef sausage in this area. Most of the other beef sausages around here seem like you're eating a regular hot dog.

Bought a big chunk of boneless ribeye thst they cut up into a bunch of good sized steaks (16), massive chicken wings, a prime rib roast, veal, etc…. for less than $300. We were going to another local butcher, before, but we got way more for our money at Avon

We love doing business at Avon. The filet mignon and prime rib are excellent. The frozen cleaned and deveined shrimp is always excellent! Don’t miss the opportunity to purchase your steaks, roasts, and seafood at this wonderful market! And the owner and staff are very helpful and service is excellent. Avon has a variety of meats. They are fresh 99.9% of the time. They offer good variety and take special orders. The workers are slow at times. They like to talk a lot. This is a good place to spend your money on quality meats.

This Store/Butcher is absolutely amazing! We dealt with Rick (my recommendation) he was extremely knowledgeable and professional! It was our first time to the store and I promise it won't be my last! We had Rick cut us some Prime Strip Steaks....Prime Filets and I must say...I'm done going out for a great steak...when we just had one of the best steaks in our lives. We also need to say that everything in this store is fairly priced and of the HIGHEST QUALITY!! One visit to Avon Meats and you will never go anywhere else!! I'm not talking really good....
