My little guy hasn't been feeling the best today and I needed to go grocery shopping. Having worked at Hy-Vee (as well as growing up going to Hy-Vee) I remembered giving/getting balloons and cheese and samples out to little kids. I wasn't sure if they still did this not having worked at Hy-Vee for almost 6 years now. So I went and asked one of the florist bc I saw someone back there. She wasn't sure but could see how down the little guy was. She got us a balloon and it made the drive home so much better. He was laughing and babbling the entire drive home. Thank you so much

There are never enough lanes open at this location and hardly any self check out lanes open. I shouldn't have to wait in line to scan and bag my own groceries when there are over 10 self check out lanes not being used. Poor management
